Date of birth: 21. 1. 2020 Weight: Weighs about 30 kg. Description: Ruben is a confident and energetic dog that strongly resembles our only native breed - the Karsi dog. With an experienced handler, he is obedient and trainable, as he is exceptionally intelligent and quickly finds ways to test his handler's boundaries. Since being in the animal shelter, his reactivity towards other dogs has significantly decreased, but he will still need additional socialization for full adaptation. Occasionally, he can be distrustful and reactive towards strangers, especially males, so he will also need patient and consistent guidance in this area. Cats do not interest him and he simply ignores them. He is extremely affectionate towards his caretakers, loves being scratched and enjoys playing with balls. He does not destroy things and is generally a very diligent dog. He has been waiting for a new home since 21.

Datum rojstva : 21. 1. 2020 Teža: Tehta okoli 30 kg. Opis: Ruben je samozavesten in energičen pes, ki močno spominja na našo edino avtohtono pasmo – kraševca. Ob izkušenem vodniku je vodljiv in učljiv, saj je izjemno inteligenten in hitro najde načine, kako preizkusiti meje svojega vodnika. Odkar je v zavetišču, se je njegova reaktivnost do drugih psov občutno zmanjšala, a bo za popolno prilagoditev potreboval še dodatno socializacijo. Občasno je lahko nezaupljiv in reaktiven do tujcev, zlasti moških, zato bo tudi na tem področju potreboval potrpežljivo in dosledno usmerjanje. Mačke ga ne zanimajo in jih preprosto ignorira. Do svojih oskrbnikov je izjemno ljubeč, rad ima crkljanje in uživa v igri z žogicami. Ne uničuje stvari in je na splošno zelo priden pes. Na nov dom čaka že od 21. januarja 2023
