His story: Our cuddly bear Satchmo is patiently waiting in his foster home in 46240 Bottrop for his forever family. Finally out of the cage and into life! After almost 1.5 years in the shelter, Satchmo arrived at his foster home very shy and initially wouldn't let anyone touch him. But within a few days, his protective shell began to crack, and since then, he shows his family every day how happy he is and how much he loves his life – his true character is gradually coming to the fore and it's simply wonderful, honest, and full of love for his people. In the short time in Germany, Satchmo has already learned a lot: house-trained from day one, even though he had never lived in a household before, sounds, new stimuli. No problem for the intelligent young guy. Of course, he also shows some insecurity, but the beautiful thing about him is that he has full trust in his people and that makes so much possible. Satchmo can easily be alone for a while, but he's overjoyed with a thorough greeting ritual when you come home to him. He's learned the most important commands very quickly: sit, down, stay, wait, slowly, stop. He can already do that 🙂 With strangers, he's still a bit cautious, but that can't hurt. Generally, he finds children more interesting than adults. Dog encounters are curious and problem-free, on the dog field, he runs happily with other dogs, but always keeps an eye on his people and immediately listens when called. Satchmo likes cats and plays with them. And at home? He's simply a wonderful treasure that you fall in love with immediately. Nothing more beautiful exists in the world for Satchmo than spending time with his people. He could cuddle all day and his pure love is so palpable. Satchmo prefers a quiet and not hectic everyday life. A regular daily routine does him good and gives him security. And people who have a lot of time for him and spoil him. Since Satchmo gets along really well with other dogs, he would also make a good second dog. Originally from Zalau, Satchmo was found in the forest with his brothers Yoda and Negan. Both brothers have already been rehomed and have developed well. Satchmo is about 2.5 years old and has a medium height of around 51 cm. Our Satchmo travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated to his new home. He brings his EU pet passport with him and can be transported after a positive health check. Seine Geschichte: Unser Kuschelbär Satchmo wartet in seiner Pflegestelle in 46240 Bottrop geduldig auf seine Für-Immer-Familie. Endlich raus aus dem Zwinger und rein ins Leben! Nach fast 1,5 Jahren im Shelter kam Satchmo verständlicherweise sehr eingeschüchtert in seiner Pflegestelle an und ließ sich zunächst mal gar nicht anfassen. Aber bereits nach ein paar wenigen Tagen bröckelte sein Schutzpanzer und seitdem zeigt er seiner Familie täglich, wie glücklich er ist und wie sehr er sein Leben liebt – sein wahrer Charakter kommt nach und nach immer mehr zum Vorschein und der ist einfach nur toll, so ehrlich und voll reiner Liebe zu seinen Menschen. Satchmo hat in der kurzen Zeit in Deutschland schon jede Menge gelernt: Stubenrein von Tag 1, obwohl er vorher noch nie in einem Haushalt gelebt hat, Geräusche, neue Reize. Alles kein Problem für den intelligenten jungen Kerl. Natürlich zeigt er auch noch einige Unsicherheiten, aber das Schöne an ihm ist, dass er volles Vertrauen in seine Menschen hat und dadurch so vieles möglich macht. Satchmo kann problemlos eine Zeit lang alleinebleiben, freut sich aber mit einem ausgiebigen Begrüßungsritual wenn man wieder nach Hause zu ihm kommt. Die wichtigsten Kommandos hat er sehr schnell gelernt: Sitz, Platz, Bleib, warte, Langsam, Stopp. Kann er schon längst 🙂 Bei fremden Menschen ist er noch etwas vorsichtig, aber das kann ja auch nicht schaden. Generell findet er Kinder interessanter als Erwachsene. Hundebegegnungen verlaufen neugierig und problemlos, Im Freilauf auf der Hundewiese mit anderen Hunden rennt er richtig gerne, hat dabei aber auch immer ein Auge auf seine Menschen und hört sofort, wenn man ihn ruft. Katzen mag Satchmo gerne und spielt auch gerne mit ihnen. Und Zuhause? Da ist er einfach nur ein ganz goldiger Schatz, an den man sofort sein Herz verliert. Nichts Schöneres auf der Welt gibt es für Satchmo, als Zeit mit seinen Menschen verbringen zu dürfen. Kuscheln könnte er den ganzen Tag und seine pure Liebe ist so spürbar. Am liebsten mag Satchmo es im Alltag ruhig und nicht hektisch. Ein gleicher Tagesablauf tut ihm gut und gibt ihm Sicherheit. Und Menschen, die viel Zeit für ihn haben und ihn verwöhnen. Da sich Satchmo wirklich gut mit anderen Hunden versteht würde er sich sicher auch ale Zweithund gut eignen. Ursprünglich kommt Satchmo aus Zalau. Er wurde zusammen mit seinen Brüdern Yoda und Negan im Wald gefunden. Beide Brüder wurden bereits vermittelt und haben sich toll entwickelt. Satchmo ist etwa 2,5 Jahre alt und hat mit ca. 51 cm eine schöne mittlere Größe. Unser Satchmo reist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht in sein Zuhause. Er bringt seinen EU-Heimtierausweise mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro bei seiner Familie einziehen. Hast du dich in den hübschen Rüden verliebt?
