Sonny is as bright as the sun and as fluffy as clouds; he has enormous character and the best smile. Sonny likes exploring the world through his nose; he would spend the whole day sniffing around if he could. Sonny likes tough toys and will play with them nicely by himself. Here at the centre, he is learning to enjoy grooming and being brushed. When out and about, Sonny loves to bound around and be a big, fluffy goofball; in the home, he would love a nice cosy bed to settle down in and something to chew on. Sonny is a 5-year-old Chow Chow. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home but could potentially live with small furries if kept separate. Sonny can be a little unsure of grooming, so his new adopters should be able to read his body language, ensuring he has opportunities to have breaks. He could live with older secondary-aged children, provided they are dog-savvy. His new owners should be proactive in his ongoing training to help him be the best version of himself.
