Meet Sparky! ⚡🐾Sparky is a 9 year and 11 month old Terrier mix who proves that age is just a number. This happy boy is still a big bundle of fun and hasn’t lost his playful spark one bit! He loves playing with his toys and, when the mood strikes, tearing around with joyful zoomies that are guaranteed to make you smile. Sparky has a wonderful mix of playful energy and senior charm and absolutely adores being the center of attention. Like many older gents, Sparky can be a little grumpy at times. He’s still getting used to having his hair brushed, so grooming will take time, patience, and a gentle approach. He can also be a little unsure of strangers, so taking things nice and steady and allowing him time to build trust is the best way to go with him. As a typical terrier, Sparky would prefer a home without cats, as he would likely be a nuisance to them. With other dogs, Sparky can be grumpy with male dogs, and because he’s an older boy who loves attention, we feel he would be happiest as the only pet in the home. For children, Sparky would be best suited to a home with teenagers and older. Now enjoying his retirement years, he’s looking for a calm, peaceful home where he can relax, enjoy his playtime, and chill out in comfort.
