If you are looking for a calm and loving companion - meet Storm! He is our 6-year-old lurcher and is a fan favourite at the centre. He greets everyone he meets with wags and excited tippy taps and leans in for a big fuss. Storm loves going out on walks, especially with dog friends and then comes back to his kennel for his favourite thing in the world - food! If you want a bit of sunshine in your life then welcome Storm into your family. Storm is a sweet boy who can live with children of secondary school ages and above. He would prefer to be the only pet in the home so that all of the love and attention can be on him but he is a friendly boy and loves going for walks with other dogs. As Storm can be worried when left in new circumstances he would prefer a home where his new family are around most of the time initially. Typical of his breed, Storm has shown a prey drive and so would be kept on a lead when out and about. He can also be worried by the vets and so we do muzzle him for vet checks but he is getting braver every day!
