Thelma is a black and white female puppy who was found with Louis along the forest path. The two were abandoned in the forest and had to survive on their own. Despite this difficult and unsafe start, Thelma is already showing that she is a cheerful, open, and curious young dog. She is about 7 months old (12-2025) and will probably grow into a dog of around 50-55 centimeters. Timea, her rescuer, says that Thelma is clearly people-oriented. She seeks a lot of contact, greets everyone enthusiastically, and greatly enjoys attention. As soon as someone looks at her or calls her, she comes happily towards you. She likes to be close to someone and immediately shows her soft, friendly character. Thelma is also playful, active, and social with other dogs. She likes to move and shows interest in the world around her. Although she is still young, she is already showing that she is a dog who meets life with enthusiasm. Her energetic attitude is always combined with a large dose of kindness. Update 2026: During a visit to Romania, the volunteers had the chance to meet Thelma personally. She is a beautiful black and white girl with a nice coat. Thelma came calmly from the kennel and liked to walk with the volunteers. In addition, she immediately showed that she is a people-oriented and affectionate dog. She seeks contact and visibly enjoys the attention she receives. Furthermore, she is a real cuddler. She loves to be petted and also seeks out these moments herself. Her calm and friendly attitude makes her a nice dog to handle. Thelma is completely ready to start her new life: a life full of freedom, warmth, and cuddles. Therefore, we hope that someone will give her a chance. Thelma is een zwart-witte teefje dat samen met Louis werd gevonden langs de bosweg. De twee waren achtergelaten in het bos en moesten daar zelf zien te overleven. Ondanks deze moeilijke en onveilige start laat Thelma nu al zien dat ze een vrolijke, open en nieuwsgierige jonge hond is. Ze is ongeveer 7 maanden oud (12-2025) en zal waarschijnlijk uitgroeien tot een hond van rond 50-55 centimeter. Timea haar rescuer zegt dat Thelma duidelijk mensgericht is. Ze zoekt veel contact, begroet iedereen enthousiast en geniet enorm van aandacht. Zodra iemand naar haar kijkt of haar aanspreekt, komt ze blij naar je toe. Ze vindt het prettig om dicht bij iemand te zijn en laat haar zachte, vriendelijke karakter meteen zien. Thelma is bovendien speels, actief en sociaal met andere honden. Ze beweegt graag en toont interesse in de wereld om haar heen. Hoewel ze nog jong is, laat ze nu al zien dat ze een hond is die het leven enthousiast tegemoet gaat. Haar energieke houding wordt altijd gecombineerd met een grote dosis vriendelijkheid. Update 2026: Tijdens het bezoek aan Roemenië hebben de vrijwilligers Thelma persoonlijk mogen ontmoeten. Ze is een prachtig zwart-wit meisje met een mooie vacht. Thelma kwam rustig mee uit de kennel en liep graag met de vrijwilligers mee. Daarnaast liet ze meteen zien dat ze een mensgericht en aanhankelijk hondje is. Ze zoekt contact en geniet zichtbaar van de aandacht die ze krijgt. Verder is ze een echte knuffelaar. Ze vindt het heerlijk om geaaid te worden en zoekt deze momenten ook zelf op. Haar rustige en vriendelijke houding maakt haar een fijne hond in de omgang. Thelma is helemaal klaar om aan haar nieuwe leven te beginnen: een leven vol vrijheid, warmte en knuffels. Daarom hopen we dat iemand haar een kans geeft. Wie gunt deze lieve, enthousiaste en mensgerichte hond haar gouden mandje, zodat zij mag opgroeien tot een gelukkige volwassen hond in een warm thuis?
