Tinie (born January 2024) was already given as a kitten completely alone to an elderly woman with dementia, who didn't know what to do with her. She had no playmates, neither human nor feline, and so she learned practically nothing except to defend herself when someone came too close. Any kind of closeness was suspicious to her. She has now met other cats at the foster home and observed how playing works. It still seems a bit difficult for her, but she is now also trying to join in. She doesn't quite know the normal reactions in play yet, but it's getting better slowly. With certain treats, she even comes close to the others to get some as well. Therefore, we think that with a lot of patience, she will keep learning. At the grid window, she watches carefully what is happening outside in nature. She also likes to lie in the sun. She is house-trained and very clean, and does not scratch wallpaper or furniture. She is already vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and dewormed and is in top condition. Now she is looking for a home where she can arrive with patient people and is not forced into anything. Free roaming in a low-traffic area may only be possible after a long adjustment period, but a well-secured balcony or terrace would really suit her. In the new home, another cat would be good, one that doesn't pressure her immediately - a patient introduction with the necessary time is important. Who has experience and can give her a nice home?

Tinie (geboren Januar 2024) wurde schon als Kitten ganz alleine zu einer demenzkranken alten Frau gegeben, die nichts mit ihr anzufangen wusste. Sie hatte keine Spielkameraden, weder menschliche noch kätzische und so hat sie praktisch nichts gelernt, außer sich zu verteidigen, wenn ihr jemand zu nahekam. Nähe jeglicher Art war ihr suspekt. Als sie auf der Pflegestelle ankam, war sie zutiefst verunsichert und tieftraurig, saß wochenlang in der hintersten Ecke. Annäherungsversuche der Menschen waren ihr suspekt, egal ob mit Leckerlies oder Versuchen sie zum Spielen zu animieren. Aber nun – ganz plötzlich – hat sie sich vom Pflegefrauchen anfassen lassen! Erst nur kurz und dann immer mehr und jetzt ist sie zum Schmusekätzchen mutiert! Wir können es kaum glauben. Aber mit den anderen Katzen kann sie immer noch nicht so richtig gut. Sie hält Abstand und greift keine an, aber wenn die anderen Katzen versuchen mit ihr in Kontakt zu kommen, hat sie Stress und rennt weg. Daher suchen wir für diese besondere Katze ein liebevolles Zuhause als Einzelprinzessin. Am Gitterfenster beobachtet sie genau, was draußen in der Natur vor sich geht und liegt sehr gerne in der Sonne. Daher würde sie einen schönen Platz mit Freigang in verkehrsarmer Umgebung toll finden, wo sie selber entscheiden kann, ob sie sich doch noch mit einer anderen Katze anfreunden möchte. Ihr neues Zuhause sollte ruhig und entspannt sein und sie mag nicht bedrängt werden. Sie ist stubenrein und sehr sauber, kratzt nicht an Tapeten oder Möbeln. Sie ist bereits geimpft, gechippt, kastriert und entwurmt und topfit. Wer hat einen tollen und liebevollen Platz für Tinie?
