Riko – male dog, neutered, born ca. 2022, shoulder height ca. 42 – 43 cm, in the animal shelter Belchatow since 28.08.2024. Although the male dog had no problem with the leash, he can only be described as "shy/cautious." He is not a true scared dog, as he lets us pet him. However, the entire time he spends with us, he seeks protection from the caretaker. The animal shelter will certainly be positive for him, as he is treated kindly by people here, which was likely not the case in his earlier life. He sits with other male dogs together in the outdoor enclosure (11/2024 MI/NI)

Riko – Rüde, kastriert, geboren ca. 2022, Schulterhöhe ca. 42 – 43 cm, im Tierheim Belchatow seit 28.08.2024. Obwohl der Rüde mit der Leine kein Problem hatte, kann man ihn nur als „scheu/vorsichtig“ bezeichnen. Ein richtiger Angsthund ist er nicht, denn er lässt sich von uns streicheln. Sucht aber die ganze Zeit, die er bei uns verbringt, Schutz bei der Pflegerin. Sicher wird das Tierheim für ihn positiv sein, da er hier von Menschen freundlich behandelt wird, was in seinem früheren Leben wohl weniger der Fall war. Er sitzt mit anderen Rüden zusammen im Zwinger (11/2024 MI/NI)
