Esta pequena e linda flor é Ursula, uma menina de Staffy compacta e realmente pequena, que chegou à nossa família durante as enchentes de Janeiro de 26, quando o abrigo Los Barrios teve que ser evacuado. Ela não estava no abrigo há muito tempo, havia sido abandonada recentemente e estava verdadeiramente desolada. Agora ela se adaptou à vida no abrigo, e adora sair com os voluntários, para os parques do abrigo para cheirar as flores, ou para dias na praia e na cidade. Ursula adora entrar no carro para aventuras, caminha bem nas escadas e se comporta educadamente em público. Ela adora procurar ratos e pequenos animais em geral, então ela não será uma boa candidata para uma casa com outros animais pequenos como gatos, coelhos, pássaros etc., mas ela é ótima com todos os cães que conhece, e no abrigo ela adora viver junto com um pitbull robusto, Drako, eles fazem tudo juntos, até se protegerem mutuamente ao defecar. Como Ursula vem de um ambiente doméstico, mesmo que não fosse muito bom, já que foi abandonada, ela ainda sabe como é viver em uma casa, e certamente se ajustará rapidamente a uma vida em uma casa com uma família. Na sua casa anterior, ela vivia com uma criança, com quem parecia amar muito. Ursula caminha muito bem na coleira, seja na natureza, no abrigo ou numa rua movimentada da cidade, ela não incomoda ninguém nem outros cães, e como ela é tão compacta e gentil com as pessoas, ela também seria adequada para humanos que gostam de levar seu cachorro para todos os lugares, cafeterias, viagens de carro, praia, visitas a amigos e parentes (desde que eles não tenham ratos em suas casas!). Quando ela mudar de ambiente, indo para uma casa, provavelmente se agarrará primeiro ao primeiro humano que oferecer segurança a ela, e depois pode desenvolver ansiedade de separação, e por isso seria muito bom se houver mais pessoas na casa que cuidem de Ursula, ou se já houver um cão macho social e amigável esperando por Ursula, para que a existência e sensação de conforto e segurança de Ursula não dependam totalmente de uma única pessoa. Se o novo lar dela for um lar de uma única pessoa, sem outros cães ou humanos, recomendamos que o humano de Ursula, para criar uma vida equilibrada, confortável e tranquila para Ursula, participe de um grupo de treinamento canino, para conhecer outros cães e pessoas de cães, e construir um círculo social assim. A altura dos ombros dela é apenas 49 cm, ela é apenas uma pequena flor. Para adoção na Espanha, seria necessário um registro PPP, que o abrigo pode ajudar, e Ursula também está disponível para adoção internacional. Ela foi medicalmente verificada e é negativa para doenças mediterrâneas.

This small beautiful flower is Ursula, a compact, really small Staffy-kind of girl, who arrived to our family during the floods of January ´26, when Los Barrios shelter had to evacuate. She had not been long in the shelter yet, just recently abandoned, and she was really heartbroken. Now she has settled into shelter life, and Loves to go out with volunteers, to the shelter parks to smell the flowers, or for days out on the beach and in the town. Ursula loves to get into the car, to go for adventures, she walks well on the stairs and behaves politely in public. She loves to look for mice, and little creatures in general, so she will not be a great candidate for a home with other small animals like cats, rabbits, birds etc, but she is lovely with all the dogs she meets, and in the shelter she loves to live together with a chunky pitbull boy, Drako, they do everything together, even look out for each other when pooping. As Ursula is coming from a home environment, even though not a great one, since she has been abandoned, then she still knows how it feels like to live in a home, and will surely very quickly adjust back into a life in a home with a family. In her previous home, she was living together with a child, who she seemed to have loved very much. Ursula walks very nicely on the leash, whether in the nature, in the shelter, or in a busy town street, she does not bother people or other dogs, and since she is so compact and kind with people, she would also be suitable for humans who like to take their dog everywhere they go, to cafeterias, car trips, beach, visiting friends and relatives (as long as they do not have mice at their home!). When she will change environments, going to a home, she will probably first cling onto the first human that will offer her safety, and then she might develop separation anxiety, and for that reason, it would be really great, if there are more people in the home, who take care of Ursula, or if there is already a social, friendly male dog waiting for Ursula, so her existance and feeling of comfort and safety does not rely totally on one person. If her new home is a one-person home, without other dogs or humans, then we recommend her human, for the sake of creating a balanced, comfortable, relaxed life for Ursula, to enroll in a dog-training group, to meet other dogs and dog-people, and to build her a social circle like this. Her shoulder height is just 49cm, she is just a little flower. For an adoption in Spain, a PPP registration would be needed which the shelter can help with, and Ursula is also available for international adoption. She has been medically checked and is negative on Mediterranean diseases.
