Surya and Wari are affectionately known at our shelter as "The Redheads." This family of mixed Bretón and Basset Leonado de Bretaña was rescued from a farm where they lived together, far from the world. We believe that the great Arev is the father of the young Surya and Wari, and that union is what gives them strength as they learn to trust us. For now, the world gives them "much miedito." That's why they are not yet available for adoption; our priority is to work with them day by day until that fear turns into curiosity. Wari (Green Collar): One of the "peques." She is a bit more confident than her sister and the one who usually takes the first steps toward us when the environment is calm. Surya (Purple Collar): The other young member of the clan and, without a doubt, the most fearful. For her, time stands still when humans are nearby, and she needs more than anyone our respect and patience. Working with deep fears requires time, affection, and zero pressure. Surya y Wari son conocidos cariñosamente en el centro como «Los Pelirrojos».
