"Touching me is not something I particularly like right now. I am by no means mean: I do not hiss, I do not scratch, and I simply retreat when things get too much for me. I would say I am still a bit shy, but I am already making small progress. On good days, I let familiar caregivers gently stroke my head. By the way, I find treats quite great. In a quiet home with patient, understanding people, I will definitely learn to gain trust step by step and eventually enjoy closeness."

"Anfassen mag ich momentan noch nicht besonders gerne. Dabei bin ich keineswegs böse : Ich fauche nicht, kratze nicht und ziehe mich einfach zurück, wenn mir etwas zu viel wird. Ich würde sagen, ich bin noch immer etwas schüchtern, mache aber bereits kleine Fortschritte. Von vertrauten Pflegern lasse ich mich an guten Tagen schon vorsichtig über das Köpfchen streicheln. Leckerli finde ich übrigens auch ziemlich toll. In einem ruhigen Zuhause mit geduldigen, verständnisvollen Menschen werde ich ganz bestimmt lernen, Schritt für Schritt Vertrauen zu fassen und irgendwann auch die Nähe zu genießen.“
