This dog is currently being rehomed under our Homestay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Homestay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with owners to minimise the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative suitable dog. Meet Bryn — a handsome 1-year-old Lurcher with a heart as big as his zoomies! This lovely lad is looking for a home where he can truly shine as the centre of attention. Bryn would much prefer to be the only dog in the household, soaking up all the love, fuss, and belly rubs he can get. That said, he’s perfectly happy having doggy pals out and about on his adventures. Bryn absolutely adores his walks and thrives on getting out and exploring the world. Whether it’s stretching his legs in a secure field playing his all-time favourite game of fetch, or having a good sniff around woodland trails, he’s in his element. Just keep an eye out—if a squirrel makes an appearance, Bryn may decide it’s time for a spontaneous chase! A true foodie at heart, Bryn is highly motivated by treats, and if you’re looking to win him over quickly, a tasty snack or two will do the trick. He’s previously been left for up to four hours and is housetrained, though he may need a little help in this area as he settles into his new home. Bryn could happily live with children aged 14 and over, as long as they are confident around a lively, bouncy dog and understand the importance of respecting his boundaries. Full of life, love, and a touch of mischief, Bryn is ready to find a home where he can be cherished as the star of the show.
