The vets thankfully did not follow through and instead asked that the owner signed Bunny over to them as a surrender. She was then brought to us to find a loving home. Bunny can be shy. but despite her shyness, she is actually a very sweet and loving girl. She very much acts like she is magnetised to hands and will headbutt any that come close to her. Bunny doesn’t come out of her igloo much, as she is a little scared of being at the rescue. She feels most safe when she can get close to people and is happy to lean in for chin scratches while you talk to her like a baby! We think Bunny shouldn’t be rehomed to a residence with other pets so she would have to be the only cat. Her shyness also means we don’t think she’d cope well in a household with dogs or with young children. She may cope fine in a home with mature kids.
