Don't be misled by the name, Démon is a tiny butterfly at heart... he just needs to learn to unfold. Démon is enthusiastic and active at home in a familiar environment, an alert watchdog. He loves to run and explore the world. He tends to avoid other dogs, not seeking conflict, but he doesn't like it when he's involved. He really loves to eat and needs extra portions for his body because he burns more calories than average due to his nervousness and stress. Yes, Démon gets stressed. Every time he has to leave the kennel, every time he has to return, every time another dog goes out, every time it's feeding time, every time a cat walks by the field, he gets stressed. He experiences everything with great enthusiasm, but he quickly calms down and it's easier to distract him and gain his attention. He wants everything at once, but small changes are frightening for him. They work on this with him every day at the pension, but if there were a calm, stable volunteer who could visit him once or twice a week for half an hour, that would be a big help for him to become less reactive. He still needs to learn, to go to dog school and socialization classes, and Kismaszat is happy to help as needed, we can even provide training assistance for adoption. Démon, like many others, was previously adopted. He was taken in as a puppy, but three years later he returned to Kismaszat... as a scared dog, completely poorly socialized. We need to rebuild his trust from the bottom up, so please, if you find Démon appealing, consider these things: are you experienced with dogs and could you be consistent with him? It's okay if he only moves in after a longer getting-to-know-you period? Could you be a knowledgeable, patient owner? Would you be the security in his life, his guardian angel forever? Ne tévesszen meg a név, Démon a lelke mélyén egy iciri-piciri pillangó…. csak meg kell tanulnia kibontakozni. Démon az itthoni, megszokott környezetben lelkes, aktív kutya, éber házőrző. Imád futni, felfedezni a világot. Más kutyákkal inkább elkerülő, nem keresi a konfliktust, de ha beleállnak, azt nem szereti. Nagyon szeret enni, szüksége is van az extra adagokra a szervezetének, mert a zsizsegés és a stresszelés miatt több kalóriát éget, mint az átlag. Igen, Démon stresszel. Ha ki kell jönni a kennelből, azért, ha vissza kell menni, azért, ha másik kutya megy ki, akkor azért, ha etetés van, azért, ha elsétál egy macska a szántóföldön, azért. Hatalmas hévvel él meg mindent, de már gyorsan higgad és könnyebb tiltani, felvenni a figyelmét. Mindent szeretne egyszerre, ugyanakkor ijesztőek is számára az apró változások. Ezen dolgoznak vele a panzióban is minden nap, viszont, ha volna olyan nyugodt, stabil önkéntes, aki meglátogatná hetente, kéthetente fél-egy órára, az nagy segítség lenne számára, hogy közömbösödjön. Szüksége van még rá, hogy tanuljon, hogy kutyaiskolába, szocializációs foglalkozásokra járjon, ezekben a Kismaszat is szívesen segít igény szerint, akár kiképzői segítséget is tudunk biztosítani az örökbefogadáshoz. Démon is, mint sokan mások, volt már gazdis. Kölyökkorában fogadták még örökbe, azonban 3 év múlva visszaérkezett a Kismaszathoz…. egy rettegő kutyaként, teljesen rosszul szocializálva. Mélyről kell visszaépítenünk a bizalmát, ezért kérlek, ha szimpatikus neked Démon, gondold ezeket is át: gyakorlott vagy kutyákkal, tudnál következetes lenni vele?
