Nela is already about 10 years old (as of August 2017) and it would be wonderful if we could find a nice place for the gentle Mastin Espagnol mix lady for a comfortable retirement. We unfortunately do not know where Nela came from or what story she would tell if she could. The extremely friendly and people-oriented female dog came into the care of Dolmen Animal, because an animal welfare worker was informed that the four-legged woman had appeared on a Finca - and the owners of the property immediately called the dog catchers. Fortunately, our partners were able to save the grateful female dog from being killed, but even now Nela is still in the kennel, but at least she is safe right now. Nela is very easygoing with other dogs, she currently lives with three fellow animals in a small shelter. Occasionally, the funny grandma with the wide smile is even tempted to play with her much younger roommates, but she usually prefers relaxed chilling in the Spanish sun. The agile senior loves it when someone has time to take her for a walk. She behaves exemplary on the leash and also responds well to basic commands - especially if sausages are involved. Nela needs soft treats, because she has hardly any teeth left in her mouth, but she loves - quite typical for her breed - food at any time of day and in any form. Nela is looking for a home for the autumn of her life, with age-appropriate entertainment, lots of wellness and a comfortable cuddly basket to dream in. And we are already dreaming of receiving pictures of her from her new home, where Nela can grow old with dignity.

Nela ist schon ca. 10 Jahre alt (Stand August 2017) und es wäre wundervoll, wenn wir für die zärtliche Mastin Espagnol-Mischlingsdame noch ein schönes Plätzchen für einen gemütlichen Lebensabend finden könnten.Woher Nela kam und welche Geschichte sie erzählen würde, wenn sie könnte, wissen wir leider nicht. Die überaus freundliche und menschenbezogene Hündin kam in die Obhut von Dolmen Animal, weil ein Tierschützer darüber informiert wurde, dass die Vierbeinerin auf einer Finca aufgetaucht sei – und die Besitzer des Anwesens sofort die Hundefänger angerufen hätten. Zum Glück konnten unsere Partner die dankbare Hündin vor der Tötung bewahren, aber auch jetzt sitzt Nela noch im Zwinger fest, immerhin ist sie im Moment in Sicherheit.Nela ist äußerst umgänglich mit anderen Hunden, sie lebt augenblicklich mit drei Artgenossen in einer kleinen Unterkunft. Hin und wieder lässt sich die lustige Omi mit dem breiten Lächeln sogar dazu hinreißen, mit ihren wesentlich jüngeren Mitbewohnern zu spielen, meist zieht sie aber entspanntes Chillen in der spanischen Sonne vor. Die agile Seniorin liebt es, wenn jemand Zeit hat, mit ihr einen Spaziergang zu machen. Sie geht vorbildlich an der Leine und hört auch schon prima auf die Grundkommandos – vor allem, wenn Würstchen ins Spiel kommen. Nela braucht weiche Belohnungen, weil sie kaum noch Zähne im Mund hat, aber sie liebt – ganz rassetypisch – Essen zu jeder Tageszeit und in jeder Form.Nela sucht ein Zuhause für den Herbst ihres Lebens, mit altersgerechtem Unterhaltungsprogramm, viel Wellness und einem bequemen Kuschelkörbchen zum Träumen. Und wir träumen schon jetzt davon, bald Bilder von ihr aus ihrem neuen Heim zu erhalten, wo Nela in Würde altern darf.
