Bolek—deputy manager, loyal student, and master of teamwork. Bolek is six years old and weighs a staggering 2.5 kg. Yes, you read that right—there are bigger food packages than this dog. He arrived at the shelter together with Lolek, and ever since then, he’s consistently demonstrated that they operate under the “one for all, all for one” system. Or rather: “Lolek makes the decisions, and Bolek thinks it’s a great idea.” If Lolek goes somewhere, Bolek follows him. If Lolek checks something out, Bolek has to check it too. And if Lolek decides a situation calls for commentary, Bolek is ready to join the press conference. It’s a classic master-student dynamic—only both dogs have four paws. At first glance, Bolek seems calmer and more reserved than his older companion. But that doesn’t mean he lacks character. He simply makes sure Lolek has already started speaking before he opens his mouth himself. And when he determines that the situation really does warrant his input, he can add his own two cents in a surprisingly loud voice. Like Lolek, Bolek isn’t a handbag dog. Sure, he’d fit into most handbags—but he’d be deeply offended by the very thought of it. He’s a perfectly normal dog with perfectly normal needs, his own opinions, and a firm belief that the world should be explored on his own two paws. We’d love to see him at home with Lolek, especially since the two dogs ended up at the shelter together. They’re a duo that operates according to their own rules and clearly feel most comfortable in each other’s company. One is the strategist; the other is his most devoted partner. Together, they probably weigh just a few kilograms—but their energy and self-confidence would easily power a dog ten times their size.
