Un voce mare și o personalitate și mai mare. Salutați-l pe Ringo, călăușul nostru hilar care a venit la noi de pe o altă insulă! Vecina lui s-a îngrijorat atât de mult pentru el și prietenul său Palomino, încât a negociat și a plătit ca să-i scoată din situația dificilă și să-i aducă în siguranță la noi. Ringo are doar 5 ani și nu a trăit niciodată cu alți căluși înainte, așa că în momentul de față se află cu poneii noștri și învață multe lucruri noi. A fost deja ecartat și a avut o recuperare foarte dificilă, sincer a fost un moment critic din cauza infecțiilor și abceselor, dar a trecut printr-o îmbunătățire și s-a vindecat frumos. Întrucât călușii maturi pot dura un timp ca hormonii și comportamentul lor să se calmeze, îi oferim câteva luni pentru a se adapta complet înainte de a se alătura gangului nostru de căluși. Pentru moment, el câștigă încredere și cunoștințe de la oameni, astfel încât să poată merge la plimbare și să-și aprecie noua viață fericită. Este un personaj mare și amuzant (și foarte, foarte zgomotos!) și suntem entuziasmați să-l urmăm pe drumul său pe măsură ce devine parte din turma noastră aici la adăpost.

A big voice and an even bigger personality. Say hello to Ringo, our hilarious new stallion donkey who came to us from another island! His neighbour was so worried about him being in a difficult situation, along with his friend Palomino, that she negotiated and paid to get them out and brought safely to us. Ringo is only 5 and had never lived with other donkeys before, so at the moment he’s staying with our ponies and learning lots of new things. He’s already been castrated and it was a very difficult recovery, honestly it was touch and go due to infections and abscesses, but he has turned a corner and eventually recovered beautifully. Because mature stallions can take a while for their hormones and behaviour to settle, we’re giving him a few months to fully adjust before he joins our donkey gang. For now he is gaining trust and knowledgeable from humans so he can go out walking and enjoy his new happy life. He’s a huge, funny character (and very, very loud!) and we’re excited to watch his journey as he becomes part of the herd here at the sanctuary.
