Sitka a fost găsit singur pe un teren când avea 2 luni, fără niciun frate sau mamă. El are una dintre cele mai triste povestiri ale cânilor care se află în adăpost - a fost în adăpost toată viața sa..... Când a venit ca pui, s-a îmbolnăvit de parvovirus, iar în timp ce majoritatea puiilor se vindecă de virus fără complicații, Sitka a dezvoltat rinită, care i-a închis accesul nazal, așa că a necesitat o intervenție chirurgicală. După intervenție, dulce Sitka trăiește o viață „normală”, doar uneori face zgomote de supt cu gura și limbă lui poate apărea mai lungă decât ce ai putea fi obișnuit! Rezultatele analizelor de sânge ale lui Sitka sunt excelente, este sănătos și negativ pentru toate bolile mediteraneene testate - este un băiat puternic și grăsuc! Sitka este cu adevărat un câine de șold, a fost deja unul ca pui și continuă dragostea pentru a se așeza pe șoldurile oamenilor. Avem sesiuni ocazionale de masaj pentru persoanele în vârstă din adăpost, iar Sitka își plăcere masajul când stă pe șoldul terapeutului. Deși a petrecut toată viața în adăpost și nu a ieșit mult în „lumea reală”, se comportă foarte bine în zilele lui de ieșire. Este bine călătorind în mașină și mergând la aventuri cu tine, și îi place să miroase prin buruieni, emițând sunete de porc de trufă. Merge bine la leagăn într-un oraș și trece pe lângă mașini, autobuze, oameni foarte politicos. Doar vederea unui copil jucând fotbal l-a făcut emoționat și a făcut zgomot de șoapte. Sitka ar dori să te însoțească la un cafeneu liniștit și să-ți privească gura până când îți va da micul dejun, pe care-l ia cu blândețe din mâna ta. Sitka caută oamenii lui, care îi vor da timp și spațiu pentru a se obișnu cu o viață în lumea oamenilor, treptat și liniștit. Echipa adăpostului a început deja procesul, luându-l în pădure, oraș, cafeteria, vizite acasă - dar el are nevoie de o casă reală. O casă liniștită fără alte câini sau copii, într-un cartier liniștit, ar fi ideal pentru el. Când vede lucruri interesante, devine excited și face un zgomot de șoapte, așa că pentru liniștea tuturor, un mediu cu mai puține lucruri interesante ar fi minunat pentru Sitka! Lângă natură, într-un oraș mic, sat sau suburbii. Prezența sa drăguță și ciudată aduce bucurie oamenilor lui, și este plăcut să fii alături de el. Deși este un băiat destul de grăsuc, nu e deloc supărător și este ușor de manipulat. Sitka was found alone in a plot of land when he was 2 months old, without any other siblings or a mother. He has one of the saddest stories of the dogs that are in the shelter - he has been in the shelter all his life..... When he arrived as a puppy, he got sick with parvovirus, and while most puppies recover from the virus without any complications, Sitka developed rhinitis, that closed his nasal access, so he required a surgery. After the surgery, sweet Sitka has been living a "normal" life, he just sometimes makes slurping sounds with his mouth and his tongue can show longer than what you might be used to! Sitka's blood test results are excellent, he is healthy and negative on all the tested Mediterranean diseases - he is a fit chunky boy! Sitka is truly a lapdog, he was one already as a puppy and he continues his love for sitting on people’s laps. We have occasional massage sessions available for senior citizens of the shelter, and Sitka enjoys his massage while sitting on the therapist lap. A cuddly boy Sitka is, every chance he gets, a lap he conquests. Even though he has spent all of his life in the shelter, and has not been out in the “real world” much, he behaves so well on his days out. He is fine travelling in the car and going to adventures with you, and loves to sniff around the bushes, making his truffle pig sounds. He walks well on the leash also in a town and passes cars, buses, people very politely. Just seeing a child play football got him excited and squeeking. Sitka would also love to accompany you to a quiet cafe and stare in your mouth until you give him your breakfast, which he then gently takes from your hand. Sitka is looking for his humans, who will give him time and space to get used to a life in the human world, slowly and calmly. The shelter team has already started with the process by taking him out to the forest, town, cafeteria, home visits - but he needs a real home. A peaceful home without other dogs or children, in a quiet neighborhood, would be ideal for him. When he sees exciting things, he gets exited as well and makes a squeeking sound, so for everyone’s peace of mind, an environment with less exiting things would be lovely for Sitka! Near the nature, in a small town, a village, or the suburbs. His kind and quirky presence brings joy to his humans, and he is so pleasant to be around. Even though he is quite a chunky boy, he is not overwhelming at all, and is easy to handle. Since Sitka has always lived behind metal bars, without the warmth of a home, we are looking for a kind, quiet, balanced home for him, to spend the rest of his years in peace. A home with simple routines, patience and kindness. A soft sofa, perhaps a fluffy carpet, evenings together in front of the TV and days together taking walks in the nature, this is what Sitka is dreaming of. And of course, chicken nuggets. His shoulder height is approximately 56cm.
