Tapas comes from a large cat colony and is not used to humans. He will therefore need a lot of time and patience to become confident. The foster home describes Tapas: "Tapas is a cautious and kind guy. He is curious and likes to keep an eye on things, but preferably at a safe distance as people are still a bit scary. Tapas is a real sweet tooth and this seems to be the way to his trust, if you offer him treats you can get close for a while. Tapas enjoys playing alone when it's quiet and calm. He has looked and sniffed at the foster home's own cat, and would probably do very well living with a safe and kind feline friend in his future home who can show him that the world is not so dangerous." Tapas wants to live with at least one feline companion. He works well as an indoor cat and wants to continue as he is too shy to be let out. In the future, if he becomes tamed, it may possibly go.
