Tapas comes from a large cat colony and is not used to humans. He will therefore need a lot of time and patience to become confident. The foster home describes Tapas: "Tapas is a cautious and kind guy. He is curious and likes to keep an eye on things, but preferably at a safe distance as people are still a bit scary. Tapas is a real sweet tooth and this seems to be the way to his trust, if you offer him treats you can get close for a while. Tapas enjoys playing alone when it's quiet and calm. He has looked and sniffed at the foster home's own cat, and would probably do very well living with a safe and kind feline friend in his future home who can show him that the world is not so dangerous." Tapas wants to live with at least one feline companion. He works well as an indoor cat and wants to continue as he is too shy to be let out. In the future, if he becomes tamed, it may possibly go. Jourhemmet beskriver Tapas: ”Tapas är en försiktig och snäll kille. Han är nyfiken av sig och gillar att ha koll på läget, men helst på säkert avstånd då människor fortfarande är lite läskiga. Tapas är en riktig gottegris och detta verkar vara vägen till hans tillit, bjuder man på godis får man närma sig en stund. Tapas tycker om att busa själv när det är tyst och lugnt. Han har tittat och nosat på jourhemmets egna katt, och skulle nog må väldigt bra av att bo med en trygg och snäll kattkompis i sitt framtida hem som kan visa honom att världen inte är så farlig.” Tapas vill bo med minst en kattkompis. Han funkar bra som innekatt och vill fortsätta som det då han är för skygg för att kunna släppas ut. I framtiden om han blir tamare kan det eventuellt gå.
