Det här kan vara "en hund för dig" … en hund som kan matchas med dig enligt information du ger nedanför denna profil. Att registrera din intresse här ger dig större chans att bli övervägd för en hund som passar din situation, men håll ögonen på hemsidan efter en hund som du tror passar dig! "En hund för dig" kommer att vara en greyhound eller lurcher som för närvarande är i vårt ansvar och söker ett kärleksfullt hem. "En hund för dig" passar en rad människor med sighthound-erfarenhet från nybörjare till erfarna hem (de senare alltid välkomna!) "En hund för dig" passar en bred mångfald av boendeformer, men särskilt populära är landlig eller halvlandlig miljö. "En hund för dig" passar din familjesituation. Medan vissa av våra hundar kan bo med barn och/eller andra hundar, har många svårt att bo med barn under 10 år, eller små raser (den senare huvudsakligen relaterat till exloppgreyhounds) "En hund för dig" är osannolikt att kunna bo med katter (eller det kan ta längre tid) "En hund för dig" bör inte förväntas ha bott i ett hem tidigare (än så länge några av våra hundar har gjort) "En hund för dig" MÅSTE aldrig få gå utan ledd i offentliga områden p.g.a. rasens naturliga instinkt. "En hund för dig" behöver träffa dig vid vår kattplats i Devon, även om vi ibland har andra hundar som ska hjas direkt från deras nuvarande hem vilket kan ligga i Devon, Dorset, Somerset eller Bristol. Detta kan ske en gång eller flera gånger (beroende på hunden). Om du ansöker om "en hund för dig", kommer vi att hålla kvar din ansökan i 3 månader, vi kommer att granska den när nya hundar blir tillgängliga. Vi kontaktar dig för att prata igenom din situation och krav om vi känner att vi har en match för dig, men var snäll, snäll … håll ögonen på hemsidan och ansök om en hund om du är intresserad av den och tror att du kan vara en match. Det hjälper oss att snabbare processen eftersom vi får många hemerbjudanden varje vecka. Observera, om du har ett specifikt önskemål om en "typ" av hund, eller faller in i några av kategorierna ovan som kan utgöra en utmaning i att hitta en lämplig hund för dig, kommer vi ändå gärna att acceptera din ansökan eftersom vi får hundar som passar alla situationer. Dock måste det accepteras att det finns en mycket längre väntelista för dessa typer av hundar. Också högt efterfrågade är små storlekar, eller långt guldhårade lurchers.

This could be ‘a dog for you' ….a dog that may be matched to you according to the information you provide on the bottom of this profile. Registering your interest here gives you a greater opportunity to be considered for a dog that suits your circumstances, but keep an eye on the website for a dog that you thinks suits you too! ‘A dog for you' will be a greyhound or lurcher currently in our care who is looking for a loving home. ‘ A dog for you' can suit a range of people with sighthound experience from the novice to the experienced home (experienced homes always very welcome!) ‘A dog for you' can fit a wide range of living arrangements, but especially popular are rural or semi-rural locations. ‘A dog for you' will suit your family situation. Whilst some of our dogs can live with children and/or other dogs, many struggle to live with children under 10, or small breed dogs (the latter mainly relating to ex racing greyhounds) ‘ A dog for you' is unlikely to be able to live with cats (or there will be a longer wait) ‘ A dog for you' should be not be expected to have lived in a home before (although some of our dogs may have done) ‘ A dog for you' MAY never be allowed to be let off the lead in a public place due to the natural instinct of the breed. ‘A dog for you' will need to meet you at our kennel location in Devon, although we occasionally have other dogs which will be homed direct from their current home which could be based in Devon, Dorset, Somerset or Bristol. This may be just the once, or multiple times (depending on the dog). If you apply for ‘a dog for you', we will hold onto your application for 3 months, we will review it as new dogs become available. We will contact you to talk through your situation and requirements if we feel we have a match for you, but please, please … keep an eye on the website and apply for a dog if you are interested in them, and think you could be a match. It helps us to speed up the process as we have lots of home offers coming in each week. Please note, if you have a particular request for a ‘type’ of dog, or fall into some of the categories above that may present a challenge in finding you a suitable dog, we will still happily accept your application as we do get dogs to suit all circumstances. However, it must be accepted that there is a much longer waiting list for these types of dogs. Also in very high demand are small sized, or long coated lurchers.
