Aurora is blind and her cerebellum did not develop correctly. When we discovered this, we were afraid for her, because her future seemed full of unknowns. And instead, Aurora teaches us every day that sometimes we humans see problems where they see just life. She is pure joy. She is carefree. She is tranquility. She is curiosity. She is that simple and irrepressible happiness that puppies have when they don't know what fear is yet. Aurora runs, plays, explores, seeks contact and enjoys every moment. And looking at her like that, it's really hard to think that she's a "different" dog. Because Aurora doesn't feel different. And we don't want her to be. We are already starting to look for her family. But whoever falls in love with Aurora will have to know that her adoption will be evaluated with particular attention. We will do very rigorous pre-placement checks, because we're not just looking for someone who wants to adopt her. An aware family, present, patient, capable of loving her exactly for who she is and guaranteeing her a wonderful and safe life. ☑️ Will be entrusted with a regular adoption form, vaccinated, microchipped. ☑️ Availability for post-adoption visits. ☑️ Mandatory sterilization.

Se non vi dicessimo che Aurora è una cagnolina con una disabilità, probabilmente non ve ne accorgereste nemmeno. Aurora è cieca e il suo cervelletto non si è sviluppato correttamente. Quando l’abbiamo scoperto, abbiamo avuto paura per lei, perché il suo futuro sembrava pieno di incognite. E invece Aurora ci insegna, ogni giorno, che a volte siamo noi esseri umani a vedere problemi dove loro vedono semplicemente la vita. Lei è gioia pura. È spensieratezza. È tranquillità. È curiosità. È quella felicità semplice e incontenibile che hanno i cuccioli quando non sanno ancora cosa sia la paura. Aurora corre, gioca, esplora, cerca contatto e si gode ogni momento. E guardandola così, è davvero difficile pensare che sia una cagnolina “diversa”. Perché Aurora non si sente diversa. E noi non vogliamo che lo sia. Per lei iniziamo già a cercare la sua famiglia. Chi si innamorerà di Aurora dovrà però sapere che la sua adozione sarà valutata con particolare attenzione. Faremo controlli pre-affido molto rigorosi, perché non cerchiamo semplicemente qualcuno che voglia adottarla.
