Balou is the youngest of the litter, a beautiful 18-month-old Bullmastiff/Patou mix. Balou is the big, goofy dog of the litter. He is a lively dog who loves human contact and never misses an opportunity to seek attention. Very clingy, Balou loves hugs, pets, and especially spontaneously asking for a moment of tenderness from his humans. He is very sociable with humans and greatly appreciates their presence. My character: Balou is also a very food-motivated dog, which can be a real asset to continue his learning and create beautiful interactions with him. Walks: Balou has recently discovered walks and enjoys them quite well. He takes pleasure in discovering his environment and enjoying these new outing moments. Mon histoire : Voici Balou, le dernier de la fratrie, un magnifique Bullmastiff croisé Patou de 1 an et demi.Balou, c’est le gros loulou un peu foufou de la fratrie.C’est un chien plein de vie, qui adore le contact avec l’humain et qui ne manque jamais une occasion de venir chercher de l’attention.Très pot de colle, Balou aime les câlins, les caresses et surtout venir spontanément demander un moment de tendresse à ses humains.Il est très sociable avec l’humain et apprécie énormément leur présence. Mon caractère : Balou est également un chien très gourmand, ce qui pourra être un véritable atout pour poursuivre ses apprentissages et créer de belles interactions avec lui.Les balades : Balou a découvert les promenades récemment et les apprécie plutôt bien.Il prend plaisir à découvrir son environnement et à profiter de ces nouveaux moments de sortie.Ces balades seront importantes pour lui afin de continuer à découvrir le monde, tout en bénéficiant des dépenses physiques et des stimulations dont il a besoin.Avec ses congénères : Balou doit encore poursuivre son apprentissage des codes canins, qui ne sont pas encore totalement acquis.Il pourra envisager une vie avec un autre chien, à condition que la rencontre au refuge soit positive et que les affinités entre les deux chiens soient compatibles.Un accompagnement et une certaine vigilance seront nécessaires afin de lui permettre de continuer à progresser dans ses interactions avec ses congénères.Avec les chats : Balou ne pourra pas rejoindre une famille ayant des chats.Avec les enfants : nous éviterons les familles avec de jeunes enfants en bas âge, compte tenu notamment de son gabarit et de son tempérament parfois un peu foufou.En revanche, une famille avec des adolescents pourra être envisagée.
