Hi, I'm Bolinhas and I am looking for a special human to guide me through a brand new world. I have lived in this shelter for 6 long years. I arrived here when I was just a young, clueless pup and for some reason I cannot understand everyone keeps passing me by. When I first came to the shelter everything terrified me. Over the years the kind people here have helped me grow a little more confident but my world has been very small for a very long time. Because I grew up behind shelter walls I know nothing about the outside world. To be completely honest I know it is going to feel very loud and overwhelming for me at first. I am looking for a patient soul who can slow things down for me and give me the security and confidence I so desperately deserve. To help you get to know me better here is a little bit about what makes my tail wag: My doggy friends - I absolutely love playing with other dogs! In fact I would do best living with another balanced dog who can show me the ropes and help me feel safe.
