Bonny's owner fell il and couldn't care for her any longer, so she's found herself safely in our care but in need of a family to love her. She's a timid girl and very watchful in her surroundings, and she'll often stop on her walks if she is unsure about something. We're hoping to find adopters that will have the patience to allow Bonny to grow in confidence at her own pace, and not force her into any situation where she isn't comfortable. Bonny loves her food, her appetite has certainly not been affected by the changes to her life! She likes puzzle feeders but seems afraid of toys and balls and the poor girl hides away from anything squeaky. Bonny has lived with a dog before but she doesn't seem thrilled by their company at present, although she will tolerate quiet dogs walking nearby. We will continue to work on building her confidence in general until she is rehomed, and hopefully we can find her a buddy for her walks. Bonny can live with children of high school age but not other pets. She is house trained and good when left alone, but she does love to have company.
