Her story: Clea has been at her foster home since the end of February. She is still a shy little female dog, but once she has trust in someone, she is a cuddly mouse and also likes to be a little clown. She is looking for her own family that will give her the necessary time to settle in and thaw out. Clea was found sick on the roadside in Romania and was probably abandoned for that reason. She had the vicious parvovirus and also obvious problems with her hip. Clea was immediately introduced to a vet. Happily, parvo has survived, and she is healthy. The X-ray unfortunately brings not-so-good news. She has some old fractures that have already healed, and currently, nothing can be done about them. According to the vet on site, she has good chances of leading a relatively normal life and is currently pain-free. Another X-ray should be done when she is about 1 year old. A second opinion from Germany would certainly not be amiss. Clea is only about 1 year old and currently measures about 50 cm and weighs around 20 kg. She will probably not grow much more, we assume she will stay medium-sized. She is a friendly and playful female dog who constantly seeks attention. And even with her handicap, Clea handles it quite sovereignly. She already walks well on a leash, and treats are her favorite. Clea is looking for people who will not expect anything from her at first and show her how a normal dog life works. She is still a baby and has a lot to learn. One or another mishap shouldn't be held against her, and Clea should always be guided with a positive reinforcement training style. She is looking forward to her new life with beautiful walks in nature, many cuddle hours, and also a visit to the puppy school. In the first year of life, puppies should be as little alone as possible. Additionally, the more demanding puberty is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the little rascals' lives upside down. They "forget" often everything they have learned so far, and the ears are on full blast. Therefore, it is especially important in this phase to educate consistently but lovingly. And there is also a good news: This phase also passes! Our Clea is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. Ihre Geschichte: Clea ist seit Ende Februar auf ihrer Pflegestelle. Noch immer ist sie eine zunächst schüchterne kleine Hündin, wenn sie aber zu jemandem Vertrauen gefasst hat, ist sie eine Kuschelmaus und gerne auch mal ein kleiner Kasper. Sie sucht ihre eigene Familie, die ihr die nötige Zeit gibt, in Ruhe anzukommen und aufzutauen. Clea wurde krank am Straßenrand in Rumänien gefunden und wurde ziemlich sicher deshalb ausgesetzt. Sie hatte das tückische Parvovirus und außerdem offensichtliche Probleme mit der Hüfte. Clea wurde sofort einem Tierarzt vorgestellt. Parvo hat sich glücklicherweise überlebt und ist gesund. Das Röntgenbild bracht leider nicht so gute Nachrichten. Sie hat einige alte Brüche die bereits verheilt sind und man aktuell nichts tun kann. Sie hat laut Tierarzt vor Ort gute Chancen, ein relativ normales Leben führen zu können und ist aktuell schmerzfrei. Ein erneutes Röntgenbild sollte gemacht werden, wenn sie ca. 1 Jahr alt ist. Eine Zweitmeinung aus Deutschland wäre hier sicher nicht verkehrt. Clea ist erst etwa 1 Jahr alt und hat aktuell eine Größe von etwa 50 cm und wiegt um die 20 kg. Sie wird sicher nicht mehr viel wachsen, wir gehen davon aus, dass sie mittelgroß bleiben wird. Sie ist eine freundliche und verspielte Hündin, die ständig nach Aufmerksamkeit sucht. Und auch mit ihrem Handicap geht Clea ganz souverän um. Sie geht schon gut an der Leine und Leckerlis liebt sie über alles. Clea sucht Menschen, die erstmal nichts von ihr erwarten und ihr zeigen, wie ein normales Hundeleben funktioniert. Sie ist noch ein Baby und muss noch viel lernen. Das ein oder andere Malheur sollte man ihr nicht übel nehmen und Clea stets mit einem positiv verstärkenden Erziehungsstil begleiten. Sie freut sich schon auf ihr neues Leben mit schönen Spaziergängen in der Natur, vielen Schmusestunden und auch auf einen Besuch in der Welpenschule. Im ersten Lebensjahr sollten Welpen so wenig wie möglich alleine sein. Außerdem steht die eher anstrengende Pubertätszeit bevor. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der kleinen Racker auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Daher ist es in dieser Phase besonders wichtig, konsequent – aber liebevoll – zu erziehen. Und es gibt auch eine gute Nachricht: Auch diese Phase geht vorüber! Unsere Clea ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt ihren EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihre Familie umziehen.
