Dulcinea är en vacker sköldpaddskatt som kom till Triple A efter att ha hittat vägen in i någons hem, där en snäll person tog hand om henne. Från början var planen att hon skulle kastreras och sedan återlämnas till området där hon hittades. Men när hennes FIV- och FeLV-test visade sig vara negativa beslutades det att ge henne en chans, och hon flyttade in i en av våra kattrum. Dulcinea kommer bra överens med andra katter. Hon är social, delar sin plats glatt med dem och känner sig bekväm i deras sällskap. Med människor är hon dock fortfarande ganska försiktig. För närvarande tillåter hon sig inte att bli klappad och när någon försöker närma sig henne föredrar hon att springa iväg och hitta någon annanstans där hon känner sig trygg. Hon är inte aggressiv; hon är helt enkelt rädd och inte redo att lita på människor än. Dulcinea behöver en tålmodig familj som förstår att det kan ta tid att vinna hennes förtroende. Hon behöver ett lugnt hem med människor som inte pressar henne, som respekterar hennes utrymme och låter henne närma sig när hon känner sig redo. Att ha en annan vänlig, social katt i närheten kan också hjälpa henne att känna sig tryggare. 💗 Vi skulle älska att Dulcinea får chansen att upptäcka ett annat liv, borta från osäkerhet och omgiven av människor som är villiga att ge henne all den tid hon behöver. Hon kanske inte är redo för kramar än, men hon förtjänar en familj som kommer att vara där för henne varje steg på vägen. Dulcinea is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who arrived at Triple A after finding her way into someone's home, where a kind person took her in. Initially, the plan was to have her spayed and then return her to the area where she was found. However, when her FIV and FeLV tests came back negative, it was decided to give her a chance, and she moved into one of our cat rooms. Dulcinea gets along very well with other cats. She is sociable, shares her space happily with them and feels comfortable in their company. With people, however, she is still quite wary. At the moment, she doesn't allow herself to be stroked and, whenever someone tries to approach her, she prefers to run off and find somewhere else where she feels safe. She isn't aggressive; she is simply frightened and not yet ready to trust people. Dulcinea needs a patient family who understands that earning her trust may take time. She needs a quiet home with people who won't put pressure on her, who respect her space and allow her to approach when she feels ready. Having another friendly, sociable cat around could also help her feel more secure. 💗 We would love Dulcinea to have the chance to discover a different life, away from uncertainty and surrounded by people willing to give her all the time she needs. She may not be ready for cuddles just yet, but she deserves a family who will be there for her every step of the way.
