Elliott is one of the lovely E Litter, a group of seven puppies who were brought to the sanctuary by their owner when they were around eight weeks old. Likely to grow to a small Labrador size. Approx 20-23kg when fully grown. This often happens when the puppies are weaned and their mother is no longer feeding them, meaning the owner suddenly has the cost and responsibility of feeding and caring for the whole litter. Thankfully, Elliott and his siblings were never truly abandoned and have not experienced the trauma or distress that many rescue dogs endure. Elliott is a friendly, playful and affectionate young boy who enjoys spending time with the volunteers and playing with his brothers and sisters. He has a happy, curious nature and is at the perfect age to begin learning about family life, walking on a lead and all the other important skills a young dog needs. He will need a loving and committed home where someone has the time and patience to continue his training, help him settle and introduce him gradually to new experiences. As with any puppy, Elliott will need guidance with house training, lead walking and learning how to be left alone for short periods. Elliott will arrive fully vaccinated and with comprehensive health checks, including: Elliott is a gorgeous young dog with so much love and happiness to offer. With the right home, he will grow into a wonderful and loyal family companion. Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK.
