Enia – a young female dog with heart and spirit Enia is a roughly nine-month-old female dog from Bosnia, found with her siblings on the streets. Fortunately, the little dog family was discovered, medically attended to, and allowed to move into the animal shelter. We don’t know what Enia’s first months of life were like, but we do know what she brings with her: an amazingly open, uncomplicated nature and a readiness to trust the world. Although Enia has only recently been living at her foster home in Germany, she already shows her best side there. Housebreaking? For her, it’s no longer an issue. When she needs to go, she becomes restless, then it’s time to head outside quickly. She takes everyday noises in the house calmly, finds car rides relaxing, and even allows examinations by the vet cooperatively, although she still doesn’t find strangers so great. By the way, Enia is initially cautious. She closely observes new people and unfamiliar situations, but then warms up and transforms into a cuddly, open young female dog. Currently, she finds children a bit scary – a home where children respect their quiet zones could still fit, but needs patience and empathy. She still eye-watches cyclists and bikers; she’s learning that they pose no danger. According to her age, Enia is active and wants to move around. She doesn’t show a pronounced prey drive. She lets pigeons, woodpeckers, and company pass by without a fuss. She is friendly and open with fellow animals but doesn’t like to be pushed, and communicates this clearly. She gets along well with the two female dogs at her foster home but doesn’t seek a stormy play contact. Being alone works for a short time in the company of the other female dogs. Whether she can be completely alone needs to be practiced in peace, but the potential is visible. Enia needs people who can guide her through life with sensitivity, consistency, and reliability. Clear rules give her security, then she shows herself as what she is: a truly uncomplicated, eager-to-learn, and loving companion. Due to her appearance, Enia will not be rehomed to regions where she could face breed-list classifications. We want to spare her unnecessary risks. Her new home should be on the outskirts of a city or in the countryside, preferably with a garden, but an apartment with enough space to run around is also conceivable. Enia – eine junge Hündin mit Herz und Köpfchen Enia ist eine etwa neun Monate alte Hündin aus Bosnien, die gemeinsam mit ihren Geschwistern auf der Straße ausgesetzt wurde. Zum Glück wurde die kleine Hundefamilie gefunden, tierärztlich versorgt und durfte ins Tierheim ziehen. Wie Enias erste Lebensmonate aussahen, wissen wir nicht, aber wir wissen, was sie trotz allem mitbringt: eine erstaunlich offene, unkomplizierte Art und eine Bereitschaft, der Welt zu vertrauen. Obwohl Enia erst seit kurzer Zeit auf ihrer Pflegestelle in Deutschland lebt, zeigt sie sich dort schon von ihrer besten Seite. Stubenreinheit? Für sie längst kein Thema mehr. Wenn sie muss, wird sie unruhig, dann sollte man zügig vor die Tür gehen. Alltagsgeräusche in der Wohnung nimmt sie gelassen hin, Autofahren findet sie entspannt und auch beim Tierarzt lässt sie Untersuchungen kooperativ über sich ergehen, obwohl sie Fremde noch nicht so toll findet. Apropos Fremde: Enia ist anfangs vorsichtig. Neue Menschen und unbekannte Situationen beobachtet sie genau, taut dann aber auf und verwandelt sich in eine verschmuste, offene junge Hündin. Kinder findet sie aktuell noch etwas gruselig – ein Zuhause, in dem Kinder ihre Ruhezonen respektieren, könnte dennoch passen, braucht aber Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen. Rad- und Rollerfahrerinnen beäugt sie noch mit Skepsis; sie lernt gerade, dass von ihnen keine Gefahr ausgeht. Ihrem Alter entsprechend ist Enia aktiv und möchte sich bewegen. Einen ausgeprägten Jagdtrieb zeigt sie nicht. Tauben, Elstern und Co. lässt sie entspannt vorbeispazieren. Mit Artgenossen ist sie freundlich und offen, mag es aber nicht, bedrängt zu werden, und kommuniziert das klar. Mit den beiden Hündinnen auf ihrer Pflegestelle versteht sie sich gut, sucht aber keinen stürmischen Spielkontakt. Das Alleinbleiben klappt in Gesellschaft der anderen Hündinnen bereits für kurze Zeit. Ob sie auch ganz alleine bleiben kann, muss in Ruhe geübt werden, doch das Potenzial dafür ist sichtbar. Enia braucht Menschen, die sie einfühlsam, konsequent und zuverlässig durchs Leben führen. Klare Regeln geben ihr Sicherheit, dann zeigt sie sich als das, was sie ist: eine wirklich unkomplizierte, lernwillige und liebevolle Begleiterin. Aufgrund ihres Aussehens wird Enia nicht in Regionen vermittelt, in denen für sie Einstufungen nach Rasselisten drohen könnten. Wir möchten ihr unnötige Risiken ersparen. Ihr neues Zuhause sollte am Stadtrand oder auf dem Land liegen, gerne mit Garten, aber eine Wohnung mit ausreichend Auslauf ist ebenso denkbar. Eine Familie mit hundeerfahrenen Kindern, die Rückzug ermöglichen, können wir uns gut vorstellen. Enia kann in 12689 Berlin kennengelernt werden.
