Floki is a beautiful American Staffordshire at 6 years old, who spent two years in the dog pound. When we finally thought he had found his ideal family, we were met with the sad reality of him returning to us, without warning, without opportunities, going from sleeping on a bed one night to being back behind bars the same morning. Floki arrived at us a few months ago, and his endearing personality, gentle nature, and how lovely he is not only caught the attention of the volunteers but was quickly adopted. Although we already know the sad ending he faced, this precious little pup is here for another chance. He has a calm demeanor, is affectionate, loves being close to people, and enjoys the contact with us, constantly seeking a bit of attention from us, even through the bars... On walks, he is a marvel, although he is a bit more nervous now due to his return to the shelter, he still walks calmly without getting overwhelmed by what is around him. His favorite moment of the day, besides the time of petting, is lying in the sun. Without a doubt, he is a dog who enjoys the small things. He is good with other dogs, though it is preferable if it's a female, as the male's character can be worked on at home. He is not suitable with cats, and with children, it would be ideal if they knew to respect his space, to want him but not to overwhelm him.

Floki es un precioso American Staffordshire de 6 años, que ha pasado dos años en la perrera y cuando por fin pensábamos que había encontrado su familia ideal nos encontramos con la triste realidad de que volvía a nosotros, sin avisos, sin oportunidades, paso de estar una noche durmiendo en una cama a esa misma mañana volver a estar entre unas rejas. Floki llego hace unos meses a nosotros, nos enamoró, su tierno carácter, su tranquilidad y lo precioso que es no sólo llamo la atención de los voluntarios, rápidamente se fue adoptado, aunque ya conocemos el triste final que tuvo. Este precioso perrito viene a buscar otra oportunidad. Tiene un carácter tranquilo, es cariñoso, le encanta estar cerca de las personas, disfruta muchísimo del contacto con nosotros, buscando constantemente un poco de atención por nuestra parte, aunque sea a través de la verja... En los paseos es una maravilla, aunque ahora mismo está algo mas nervioso por su vuelta a la prote, sigue pasean o sin tirar, sin agobiarse por lo que hay a su alrededor. Su momento favorito del día, además del tiempo de mimos, es tumbarse al solecito. Sin duda es un perro que disfruta de las pequeñas cosas. Es apto con perros, aunque es preferible que sea con una hembra, dependiendo del carácter del macho se puede trabajar la adaptación en casa. Con gatos no es apto y con niños lo ideal sería que ellos supieran respetar su espacio, saber quererlo pero sin llegar a agobiarla.
