Personality:Frieda hasn’t had the best start in life, coming into our care from a multicat household of over 45 cats. She does find the noisy cattery environment very overwhelming, often choosing to either hide in her igloo bed at height or in the corner of her pod on the floor. This being said, once someone she knows and trusts sits with her she shows her beautiful personality and temperament. Behaviour:Frieda is a shy girl who is looking for patient owners who will give her the time to settle at her own pace in her new home. Once they do, they will be rewarded with the sweetest little girl. With her trusted handlers she is an affectionate and loving cat who will headbutt for fuss and has a soft purr, often choosing to be close to you for reassurance. She has also started to show her playful side. Housing:Frieda does prefer the safety of her unit and finds new surroundings quite scary, so for this reason it is essential she has her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Basingstoke & Deane (RG26 area). Children/pets:Due to her nervous nature, Frieda will need to be an only pet in an adult only home. A single person or couple would be perfect for her. Vet history:Frieda is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Her second vaccination is due between 02/07/2026 – 07/07/2026 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Frieda has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption. Adoption fee:The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
