Derrière sa timidité se cache un chien profondément gentil et attachant. Lorsqu'il découvre un nouvel environnement ou de nouvelles personnes, il peut être un peu réservé et a besoin que l'on respecte son rythme. Une fois rassuré, il apprécie les interactions. Encore jeune, Hernando apprend à mieux gérer ses émotions. Il aura besoin d'une famille patiente, bienveillante et ayant des connaissances en éducation canine pour l'accompagner dans ses progrès.
