Hogan är en charmig, knubbig herre som vi tror är ungefär 12 år gammal, men vi är inte säkra. När han kom till oss upptäcktes att han hade haft en öronpolyp medan han var bortkommen, och den togs bort. Under borttagningen skadades trumhinnan i ena örat, vilket gör att han är delvis döv och att hans balans är något påverkad. På grund av trumhinneskadan har han haft flera öroninfektioner, och även om det verkar ha lugnat ner sig kan han ibland behöva antibiotika mot öroninfektioner, vilket är en enkel behandling. Hogan söker ett kärleksfullt, för-evigt hem där han kan njuta av gott sällskap, ömhet och uppmärksamhet. Han är fortfarande mycket skygg, men med tid och omsorg lär han sig att lita på. Han har ett vackert, djupt spinnande läte, ger fantastiska huvudstötar och lär sig att använda sin röst. Han behöver ett lugnt hem där han kan få sällskap, uppmärksamhet och utrymme att utforska säkert. Han har så mycket kärlek att ge och förtjänar någon som accepterar hans obalans, förstår hans behov och ger denne fina äldre herre all den kärlek och trygghet han förtjänar. Vi anser att han behöver någon hemma åtminstone under en del av vardagarna, så det vore perfekt om du arbetar hemifrån åtminstone en del av veckan. Hogan behöver antingen vara en renodlad inomhuskatt eller bo inomhus med tillgång till en catio med endast låga hyllor, eftersom hans balansproblem gör att en återgång till en normal katts balansnivå inte kan garanteras, även om det kan förbättras med tiden. Hogan is a lovely chubby gentleman we think about 12 years old we are not sure. He was found on arrival with us to have suffered with an ear polyp while a stray which we had removed. During the polyp removal the ear drum was lost in one ear leaving him partly deaf and his balance is affected somewhat. Because of the ear drum issue he has had several ear infections and though this seems to have settled down he might sometimes have to go on antibiotics for ear infections which is straightforward. Hogan is looking for a loving forever home where he can enjoy plenty of company, affection and attention. He is still very timid however with time and attention, he learns to trust. He has a lovely deep purr, gives great headbutts and is learning to use his voice. He will need a peaceful home where he can have companionship, attention and space to explore safely. He has so much affection to give and deserves someone who will embrace his imperfect balance, understand his needs and give this lovely older boy all the love and security he deserves. We feel he needs at least someone there during some of the working week days so it would be perfect if you work at least part of the week at home. Hogan will either need to be an indoor only cat or indoor plus a catio with just low shelving as due to his balance issue as though this might improve with time a return to the balance level of a normal cat cannot be guaranteed.
