Jacky and Jill's start in life could hardly have been harder. These 7-week-old tabby and white sisters were found up a tree with a third sibling, having been separated from their mum as tiny strays. Sadly, their littermate didn't survive, and when the girls were handed in to a local vets at just two weeks old, they were tiny, very poorly, and desperately underweight for their age. There was no time to lose - they went straight from the vets into the care of a friend of Woodlands, an experienced vet nurse, who took on the round-the-clock task of hand-rearing them back to health.
