Jerry Lee came to us as a stray dog, unfortunately it seems that no one is missing this nice guy. The neutered male dog was born on 22.07.2019 and has apparently not yet gained much experience in respectful interaction with other dogs. He goes through the wall first and only asks afterwards who the other party is. Therefore, strength and dog experience should be present if you want to go through life with this handsome this breed our shelter. Jerry is absolutely loving towards people, although sometimes a bit clumsy. Unfortunately, Jerry already has problems with his hind legs due to breeding, so he cannot perform any great physical feats. Rather, targeted movement is needed to build up muscle mass and improve his quality of life and mobility. Typical of a this breed, Jerry really enjoys working with his human and pleasing him. If clear rules are set, he can also be very well-behaved and walk past other dogs without complaining - if he does not (yet) consider the person at the other end of the leash to be an authority, he expresses his frustration loudly. With Jerry you get a loyal companion who goes through life with a lot of humor and energy.

Jerry Lee kam als Fundhund zu uns, leider scheint den netten Kerl niemand zu vermissen. Der kastrierte Rüde hat am 22.07.2019 Geburtstag, hat bisher aber offenbar noch nicht so viel Erfahrung im respektvollen Umgang mit anderen Hunden gesammelt. Er geht erstmal mit dem Kopf durch die Wand und fragt erst hinterher, wer sein Gegenüber überhaupt ist. Kraft und Hundeerfahrung sollten also vorhanden sein, wenn man mit dem hübschen Altdeutschen Schäferhund durchs Leben gehen möchte. Zu Menschen ist Jerry absolut lieb, wenn auch manchmal etwas tapsig-ungeschickt. Leider hat Jerry zuchtbedingt bereits jetzt Probleme mit der Hinterhand, große sportliche Leistungen kann er also nicht erbringen. Vielmehr muss bei ihm mit gezielter Bewegung Muskulatur aufgebaut werden, um seine Lebensqualität zu verbessern und Mobilität zu erhalten. Typisch Schäferhund hat Jerry richtig Lust, mit seinem Menschen zu arbeiten und ihm zu gefallen. Werden klare Regeln aufgestellt, so kann er auch sehr brav und ohne Pöbelei an anderen Hunden vorbeigehen – wenn er den Menschen am anderen Ende der Leine aber (noch) nicht für Voll nimmt, lässt er lautstark seinen Frust heraus. Mit Jerry bekommt man einen treuen Begleiter, der mit viel Humor und Energie durchs Leben geht.
