Lorena - the little Chihuahua who needs a loving home. Lorena has only recently arrived at the Spanish animal shelter and the unfamiliar surroundings with all the strange noises and impressions are still unsettling her. We hope that the shelter will only be a short stop for her. Lorena is a bit cautious around people but can easily be picked up. She is compatible with her fellow dogs and could therefore also live wonderfully as a second dog. Unfortunately, we know nothing about her past. As a rescue dog, Lorena also brings her very personal backpack with her and will probably still have to learn the dog alphabet and many things from our daily life. And even though she is small and sweet, a Chihuahua is not an accessory, but a real dog with character, needs and feelings. Lorena was tested positive for Leishmaniasis. With the right treatment, good care and a lot of care, she will certainly develop into a beautiful little mouse again and hopefully soon really flourish. Chihuahua Lorena – Wer lässt diese Seele wieder blühen? Lorena ist erst seit Kurzem im Tierheim in Spanien – und die ungewohnte Umgebung mit all den fremden Geräuschen und Eindrücken verunsichert die kleine Chihuahua-Dame noch sehr. Wir hoffen, dass das Tierheim für sie nur eine kurze Zwischenstation bleiben muss. Menschen gegenüber ist Lorena noch etwas vorsichtig, lässt sich aber problemlos auf den Arm nehmen. Mit ihren Artgenossen ist sie verträglich und könnte daher auch wunderbar als Zweithund leben. Über ihre Vergangenheit wissen wir leider nichts. Als Tierschutzhündin bringt auch Lorena ihren ganz persönlichen Rucksack mit und wird das Hunde-ABC und vieles aus unserem Alltag vermutlich erst noch kennenlernen müssen. Und auch wenn sie klein und zuckersüß ist: Ein Chihuahua ist kein Accessoire, sondern ein richtiger Hund mit Charakter, Bedürfnissen und Gefühlen. Lorena wurde Leishmaniose-positiv getestet. Mit der richtigen Behandlung, guter Versorgung und ganz viel Fürsorge wird sie sich sicherlich wieder zu einer bildschönen kleinen Maus entwickeln und hoffentlich bald richtig aufblühen.
