She seeks the closeness to humans, loves to be stroked and cuddled, and always comes running up with a friendly, wagging tail. Driving is something she masters calmly, and even the visit to the dog groomer – necessary due to her thick undercoat – was no problem for her. At the vet, she also showed her best side: patient, calm, without fear or resistance – whether during palpation, looking into her mouth, or blood draw. Loya simply does everything to please her human. At 34 kg and about 60 cm shoulder height, she is a sturdy but gentle female dog. She is likely a mix of Leonberger and Estrela – she thus brings the gentleness of the Leonberger and the protective instinct of the herding dog. In her foster home, she lives harmoniously with her humans, and other dogs are no problem for Loya; she is very compatible. And when she lies in the garden, the world seems to be in order for her. Loya is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and has her EU pet passport. She wishes for a home with a house and garden where she can arrive and stay forever.

Autofahren meistert sie entspannt, und selbst der Besuch beim Hundefriseur – nötig wegen ihres dicken Unterfells – war für sie kein Problem. Auch beim Tierarzt zeigte sie sich von ihrer besten Seite: geduldig, ruhig, ohne Angst oder Abwehr – egal ob beim Abtasten, in den Mund schauen oder bei der Blutabnahme. Loya macht einfach alles mit, um ihren Menschen zu gefallen. Mit 34 kg und ca. 60 cm Schulterhöhe ist sie eine stattliche, aber sanfte Hündin. Vermutlich ist sie ein Mix aus Leonberger und Estrela – sie bringt also die Sanftmut des Leonbergers und den Schutzinstinkt des Herdenschutzhundes mit. In ihrer Pflegestelle lebt sie harmonisch mit ihren Menschen zusammen, andere Hunde sind für Loya kein problem sie ist sehr verträglich. Und wenn sie mal im Garten liegt, scheint die Welt für sie in Ordnung. Loya ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und besitzt ihren EU-Heimtierausweis.
