Mimi, formerly Lisa, has been in the Netherlands for about 8 weeks now. Unfortunately, it appears there is no good match with her current adoptive family. They notice that Mimi is happiest in a home where another dog is already present, so she has a companion. Mimi is a young, small, and lively Podenco full of energy and enthusiasm. Running, playing, and roughhousing are her favorite activities. She is incredibly social, hardly knows fear, and greets everyone she meets with the utmost friendliness. Other dogs especially find her wonderful. She plays with everything she encounters, rarely barks, and responds well to commands and corrections. Staying at home still proves difficult for Mimi at the moment. With patience, guidance, and a doggy companion in the house, we expect this to improve. Furthermore, Mimi has already learned a lot. She is housetrained, sleeps soundly through the night, walks nicely on a leash, and is accustomed to a daily routine. She also handles car rides well, and stair climbing is no problem for her. Mimi needs a lot of exercise. She is still young and full of energy. Therefore, we think a home with a (small) yard would be a good fit for her. Indoors, she also knows how to settle down. Then she likes to lie in her open crate or basket, relaxing with a nice bone. Are you looking for a lively, social, and active dog who would rather play outside with other dogs all day? Mimi, voorheen Lisa, verblijft inmiddels zo'n 8 weken in Nederland. Helaas blijkt er geen goede match te zijn met haar huidige adoptiegezin. Zij merken dat Mimi het gelukkigst is in een huis waar al een andere hond aanwezig is, zodat ze een maatje heeft. Mimi is een jonge, kleine en vrolijke Podenco vol energie en levenslust. Rennen, spelen en stoeien zijn haar favoriete bezigheden. Ze is ontzettend sociaal, kent nauwelijks angsten en begroet het liefst iedereen die ze tegenkomt. Vooral andere honden vindt ze geweldig. Ze speelt met alles wat ze tegenkomt, blaft bijna nooit en reageert goed op aanwijzingen en correcties. Alleen thuis blijven vindt Mimi op dit moment nog lastig. Met geduld, begeleiding en een hondenvriendje in huis verwachten we dat dit verder zal verbeteren. Verder heeft Mimi al veel geleerd. Ze is zindelijk, slaapt 's nachts goed door, loopt netjes aan de lijn en is gewend aan een vaste dagelijkse routine. Ook autorijden gaat haar goed af en traplopen is geen probleem. Mimi heeft veel beweging nodig. Ze is nog jong en zit vol energie. Daarom denken we dat een huis met een (kleine) tuin goed bij haar zou passen. Binnen weet ze ook prima tot rust te komen. Dan ligt ze graag in haar open bench of mand te ontspannen met een lekker botje. Ben jij op zoek naar een vrolijke, sociale en actieve hond die het liefst de hele dag buiten speelt met andere honden?
