Mysticat was trapped on a very dangerous proliferation site where she had multiple litters. She was spayed immediately and placed in a foster home where she has time to gain confidence and overcome her fears. This socialization is still ongoing, but the kitten has made good progress, and we believe that integration into a new home could only be beneficial for her. To date, Mysticat easily allows herself to be touched when she eats her food. However, when there is no food involved, this is not the case: it may have happened, but it is not usual. She always remains on her guard and enjoys being able to hide. Her foster home is large, so it is quite complicated for her to feel comfortable there. A smaller living space (apartment, small house) seems preferable for her to continue evolving and strengthening the bond she has begun to create with humans. In terms of character, Mysticat is a young cat who loves food, and food is a good motivator to approach humans. She is also very playful and can spend long periods playing with a fishing rod. Mysticat takes the time to analyze things, then she takes steps and seems to really validate them each time a step is taken. Mysticat is a kitten who needs to go at her own pace and is easily impressed. For this reason, she needs to have her spaces, height, and hiding places to have her peace. Regarding cohabitation, young children would be too lively for her and could scare her and prevent her from feeling safe. On the other hand, older children who can take into account her sensitivity will not cause any problems. For dogs, we also do not imagine a puppy or a dog that is too lively with her. She is still reserved with dogs with whom she cohabits. With cats, the understanding is good! Mysticat a été trappée sur un site de prolifération qui était très dangereux et où elle enchainait les portées. Elle a été stérilisée dans la foulée puis placée en famille d'accueil où le temps lui est laissé pour se mettre en confiance et abandonner ses peurs. Cette sociabilisation est encore en cours, toutefois la minette a bien progressé, et nous pensons que l’intégration dans une nouvelle maison ne pourrait qu’être bénéfique pour elle. À ce jour, Mysticat se laisse toucher aisément lorsqu’elle mange sa pâtée. Cependant, lorsqu'il n'y a pas de nourriture en jeu, ce n'est pas le cas : cela a pu se produire mais ce n'est pas habituel. Elle reste toujours sur ses gardes, et apprécie pouvoir se cacher. Sa maison d'accueil est grande donc c'est assez compliqué pour elle de s'y sentir à l'aise. Un espace de vie plus restreint (appartement, petite maison) semble préférable pour qu'elle continue d'évoluer et de renforcer le lien qu'elle a commencé à créer avec les humains. Au niveau caractère Mysticat est une jeune chatte gourmande, la nourriture est un bon levier de motivation à approcher les humains. Elle est également très joueuse et peut passer de longs moments à jouer à la canne à pêche. Mysticat prend le temps d’analyser les choses, puis elle franchit des étapes et semble vraiment les valider à chaque fois qu’une marche est montée. Mysticat est une minette qui a besoin d'aller à son rythme et qui est vite impressionnée. Pour cette raison, il faut qu'elle puisse avoir ses espaces, de la hauteur et des cachettes pour avoir sa tranquillité. Concernant la cohabitation, les enfants en bas âge auraient trop de vivacité pour elle et pourraient l'effrayer et l'empêcher de se sentir en sécurité. En revanche des enfants plus grands et à même de prendre en compte sa sensibilité ne poseront aucun souci. Pour les chiens, on n'imagine pas non plus un chiot ou un chien trop vif avec elle. Elle reste encore sur la réserve concernant les chiens avec qui elle cohabite. Avec les chats, l'entente est bonne ! La présence d’un ou plusieurs autres chats bien dans leurs pattounes serait un plus pour l’aider à progresser dans sa confiance envers les humains. Elle recherche sa famille pour la vie qui saura l’aider à évoluer, prendre confiance dans les humains et profiter de cette nouvelle vie de chatte choyée. Mysticat a été dépistée positive au FIV, de ce fait, elle ne pourra pas accéder à l'extérieur de son futur logement, sauf dans un environnement entièrement clos et sécurisé (catio ou balcon sécurisé).
