This black-and-white male cat is Oscar; his estimated date of birth is March 3, 2023. Oscar came to Hokazo as a stray. Unfortunately, no one has claimed him yet, so we’re looking for a new owner for him. Oscar is a calm cat who took quite some time to get used to us humans. He didn’t hide from us and calmly observed what we were doing. He would lie down peacefully and fall asleep, trusting that we’d leave him alone. He did have certain people he preferred, and some were allowed to pet him briefly. But recently, he’s started to come out of his shell (probably inspired by Omar)—he now stands at the door waiting for you and then starts rubbing against your legs. Or he’ll jump onto the scratching post, where he’ll already be waiting impatiently while you’re standing there. And he thoroughly enjoys being petted; occasionally, though, he still shows a bit of his tough demeanor. This will surely pass once he spends daily time with loving people. Oscar gets along well with other cats but doesn’t actively seek them out—though he can certainly live alongside them. He gets along great with Omar (see the story on our website). Deze zwart met witte kater is Oscar, zijn geschatte geboortedatum is 3 maart 2023. Oscar is als zwerfdier bij Hokazo binnengekomen. Helaas heeft niemand voor zich hem gemeld en daarom zoeken we voor hem een nieuwe baas. Oscar is een rustige kat, hij heeft best een tijdje nodig gehad om aan ons mensen te wennen. Hij verstopte zich niet voor ons en keek rustig toe wat wij deden. Hij ging rustig liggen slapen, hij vertrouwde erop dat we hem met rust lieten. Hij had echt voorkeur in mensen en sommige mochten hem heel kort aaien. Maar sinds kort heeft hij het licht gezien (waarschijnlijk het voorbeeld van Omar gezien), hij staat voor de deur je op te wachten en gaat dan om je benen kroelen. Of hij springt op de krabpaal waar hij al trappelt op je staat te wachten. En hij geniet van het kroelen, af en toe verschiet hij nog van zijn stoere gedrag. Dit komt vast goed als hij dagelijks bij verwenmens ziet. Oscar kan met katten maar zoekt ze niet echt op, maar hij kan wel met ze samen. Hij kan goed met Omar (zie verhaaltje op de site).
