I am estimated to be around 10 years old. I was found as a stray, so I have had to fend for myself for a long time. You can tell by my demeanor: I am not a cat that immediately jumps onto your lap purring. Currently, I am quick to get irritated and react sensitively to my surroundings. Health-wise, I come with a few special considerations: I have hyperthyroidism and therefore need to take my medication daily for life. Additionally, I am toothless, but manage well in everyday life. Since my kidneys are not in the best shape, special kidney food might be necessary in the future. I am looking for a quiet home with people who are very cat-savvy, patient, and have realistic expectations, who are not deterred by health issues. Whether I will ever become a snuggling cat is currently far off. Proximity – if it happens at all – might develop slowly, quietly, and in small steps. I do not and do not want to promise more right now.

"Man schätzt mich auf etwa 10 Jahre. Gefunden wurde ich als Streuner, ich habe mich also lange alleine durchs Leben geschlagen. Das merkt man mir an : Ich bin keine Katze, die sofort schnurrend auf den Schoß springt. Momentan bin ich schnell gereizt und reagiere sensibel auf meine Umgebung. Gesundheitlich bringe ich ein paar Besonderheiten mit : Ich habe eine Schilddrüsenüberfunktion und brauche deshalb lebenslang täglich mein Medikament. Außerdem bin ich zahnlos, komme damit im Alltag aber gut zurecht. Da meine Nieren nicht mehr die jüngsten sind, könnte in Zukunft spezielles Nierenfutter nötig werden. Ich suche einen ruhigen Haushalt bei sehr katzenerfahrenen Menschen mit viel Geduld und realistischen Erwartungen, die sich auch von gesundheitlichen Baustellen nicht abschrecken lassen. Ob ich jemals eine Schmusekatze werde, liegt aktuell in weiter Ferne. Nähe kann – wenn überhaupt – langsam, leise und in kleinen Schritten entstehen. Vielleicht bedeutet sie für mich irgendwann einfach, ruhig in deiner Nähe zu sein. Mehr kann und möchte ich im Moment nicht versprechen."
