Hi, I’m Pickle! 🐾 I’m a 1-year-old crossbreed with a big heart and lots of love to give. I may look like a confident, bouncy girl when I’m racing around having fun, but the truth is I’m still learning about the world around me. You see, I’ve never really had the chance to experience much in my life so far, which means everything is brand new to me. New places, new sights, new sounds, and new people can sometimes feel a little scary, and I can be quite a nervous girl while I work things out. The lovely kennel team have been helping me build my confidence every day, and they’re so proud of how far I’ve come already. Once I know I’m safe, my sweet and affectionate personality starts to shine through. I love spending time with people and am always looking for reassurance and kindness. When I really trust someone, my fun side comes bursting out! I can be quite giddy, excitable, and full of energy, always ready for an adventure or a game. I am looking for a home that has someone around a lot, as when I do feel comfortable I can be a needy girl who always wants some love. As the kennel team are still getting to know me, they’re learning more about me every day. They think I could potentially live with another confident, friendly dog who could help show me the ropes and build my confidence. They’re not sure if I’ve ever met a cat before, so a home with a dog-savvy cat may be a possibility pending introductions. Because I’m a sensitive and sometimes nervous girl, and can also be quite bouncy and excitable when I’m comfortable, the team feel I’d be best suited to a home with children aged 16 and over. I’m looking for a loving home that will give me the time, understanding, and encouragement I need to continue growing in confidence. In return, you’ll get a loyal, gentle, fun-loving best friend who will make every little milestone feel like a huge achievement.
