PIOTRUŚ arrived at our shelter on January 30, 2026. He was found wandering in the area around the river, under a bridge in Barłogi (gmina Rzgów). For a long time, he relied only on himself… At first, he was very distant – he avoided contact, stayed in the background, and did not trust people. It’s hard to blame him. It took some time for him to understand that humans can also be good. Today, PIOTRUŚ is a completely different dog ❤️ He increasingly shows his joyful nature – he likes to draw attention to himself and enjoys the presence of his caregiver. He still needs time to trust new people, but once he opens his heart… he shows how wonderful a companion he can be. PIOTRUŚ is about 5 years old and of small size. He is learning to walk on a leash – and he makes huge progress every day. PIOTRUŚ has been neutered. We are looking for a calm, patient home that will give him time, safety, and love. In return, PIOTRUŚ will repay with loyalty and genuine, doggy friendship.

Piotruś trafił do nas 30.01.2026 r. Został odłowiony po długim czasie błąkania się w okolicach rzeki, pod mostem w miejscowości Barłogi (gm. Rzgów). Przez długi czas był zdany tylko na siebie… Na początku był bardzo zdystansowany – unikał kontaktu, trzymał się na uboczu i nie ufał ludziom. Trudno mu się dziwić. Minęło trochę czasu, zanim zaczął rozumieć, że człowiek może być także dobry. Dziś Piotruś to zupełnie inny pies ❤️ Coraz częściej widać jego radosną naturę – lubi zwracać na siebie uwagę i cieszy się z obecności opiekuna. Nadal potrzebuje chwili, by zaufać nowym osobom, ale kiedy już otworzy serce… pokazuje, jak cudownym jest towarzyszem. Piotruś ma około 5 lat, jest małej wielkości. Uczy się chodzenia na smyczy – i robi ogromne postępy każdego dnia. Piotruś jest po kastracji. Szukamy dla niego spokojnego, cierpliwego domu, który da mu czas, bezpieczeństwo i miłość. W zamian Piotruś odwdzięczy się wiernością i prawdziwą, psią przyjaźnią.
