Their story: Princess is less than 1 year old and has already gone through a lot. She was brought to our spay/neuter campaign with the request to help her. It quickly became clear that she had recently undergone surgery because she was unable to defecate. However, her wound was still open, and of course, action was needed. The next day, she was brought to the emergency clinic in Cluj, where she underwent another operation. There, she was diagnosed with megacolon (an enlargement of the colon associated with chronic constipation), a condition she was born with and thus requires special diet food. Her operation was more than 5 months ago, and fortunately, she has not had any further issues since then. Despite all the commotion, Princess is very friendly, energetic, and people-oriented. She also enjoys playing with other cats and gets along well with dogs. Since Princess constantly seeks contact with her fellow animals, we do not want to place her in single housing. If there is no other cat waiting for her in her new home, she will surely take a friend from the foster home with her. Additionally, due to her history, she can only be rehomed in an apartment living situation. She would still be very happy to have access to a cat-safe netted balcony where she can explore her new surroundings.

Ihre Geschichte: Princess ist noch nicht einmal 1 Jahr alt und musste schon viel mitmachen. Sie wurde zu unserer Kastrationskampagne gebracht mit der Bitte, ihr zu helfen. Schnell stellte sich heraus, dass sie vor kurzem operiert wurde, da sie keinen Kot absetzen konnte. Allerdings war ihre Wunde noch offen und es herrschte natürlich Handlungsbedarf Am nächsten Tag wurde sie zur Notaufnahme nach Cluj gebracht, in der sie erneut operiert wurde. Dort wurde bei ihr Megacolon diagnostiziert (eine mit chronischer Verstopftheit einhergehende Erweiterung des Dickdarms). Diese Krankheit hat sie schon von Geburt an und benötigt deshalb besonderes Diätfutter. Mittlerweile ist ihre Operation schon mehr als 5 Monate her und sie hatte glücklicherweise seitdem keine weiteren Probleme. Trotz des vielen Trubels ist Princess sehr freundlich, energiegeladen und menschenbezogen. Sie spielt auch liebend gern mit anderen Katzen und versteht sich außerdem gut mit Hunden. Da Princess immer wieder Kontakt zu ihren Artgenossen sucht, möchten wir sie nicht in Einzelhaltung vermitteln. Falls in ihrem neuen Zuhause noch keine weitere Katze auf sie wartet, nimmt sie bestimmt gerne einen Freund aus der Pflegestelle mit. Außerdem kann sie aufgrund ihrer Vorgeschichte nur in Wohnungshaltung vermittelt werden. Über einen vernetzten Balkon, auf dem sie ihre neue Umgebung erkunden kann, würde sie sich sicherlich dennoch sehr freuen. Dies ist allerdings keine Voraussetzung für die
