I am female, spayed, and born in 2014. I have been waiting for a new home since February 2015. This is what my caretakers say about me: Purzeline came with other cats from a semi-wild population, some have been rehomed, others are still waiting for their chance. Purzelinchen has had a small training, and through hand-feeding we were able to achieve that she finally discovered the pleasure of being petted. Even though she still growls when there is a lot of commotion, it is no longer necessary to feed her only from the hand, just the hand without food is enough. However, chaos should not dominate, Purzeline needs a careful approach, the new owners should continue to practice consciously in order to gain her trust completely. Surely Purzeline will initially prefer hiding places and holes and need to get used to her surroundings. Therefore, patience should be brought along, she is not a cat that immediately cuddles. Until she is fully trusting, she should live in an apartment suitable environment, and only later possibly enjoy free roaming, it is not absolutely necessary. Ich bin weiblich, kastriert und 2014 geboren. Ich warte seit Februar 2015 auf ein neues Zuhause. Das sagen meine Betreuer über mich: Purzeline kam mit weiteren Katzen aus einem halbwilden Bestand, einige sind vermittelt, andere warten noch auf Ihre Chance. Purzelinchen hat ein kleines Training hinter sich, mit Handfütterung konnten wir erreichen, das sie endlich das Streicheln für sich endeckt hat.Auch wenn sie bei viel Trubel gerne noch faucht, ist es nun nicht mehr nötig, sie nur aus der Hand zu füttern, die Hand ohne Futter genügt. Nur Hektik sollte nicht vorherrschen, Purzeline benötigt eine vorsichtige Annäherung, die neuen Halter sollten weiter bewusst üben, um ihr Vertrauen endgültig zu gewinnen. Sicher wird Purzeline anfänglich Verstecke und Höhlen bevorzugen und sich erst eingewöhnen müssen.Geduld sollte also mitgebracht werden, sie ist keine Miez, die umgehend kuschelt. Bis sie vollständig vertraut, sollte sie in einer Wohnungshaltung leben, erst danach eventuell Freigang genießen, zwingend nötig ist es nicht.
