Rolo is a sensitive three-year-old Bichon Cross whose confidence is already beginning to grow. She enjoys exploring enrichment activities and takes treats very nicely, which will help her adopters continue building her confidence. Life with Rolo will begin gently, with a predictable routine, time in the garden and plenty of opportunities to investigate without pressure. As she becomes comfortable, her adopters will be able to introduce new experiences one step at a time. Rolo is looking for a quiet home with patient adopters who will allow her to settle and build trust at her own pace. She could live with calm, understanding older teenagers, but would prefer a home without lots of visitors or people regularly coming and going. A secure garden is essential, as Rolo may not be ready for walks outside the home for some time. Her adopters will need to introduce her collar, harness, handling and grooming gradually, using gentle, positive training. She will also need support with housetraining, car travel and slowly building up the time she spends alone.
