Personality:Sebastian is a friendly boy who enjoys company and a good cuddle. He likes to sit next to you looking out the window relaxing as well as coming up to you for cuddles. He loves listening to the birds and can be a playful boy chasing his stick toy round. Behaviour:Sebastian will come straight out to see you if you open his door, he will nudge into your hands for fuss and likes to curl up on your lap being so affectionate. He will sit paddy pawing your lap very content, he enjoys a play. When he’s in his unit he relaxes on his bed at the front of the unit and will watch what’s going on. Housing:Sebastian will need a home with outside access to a garden. He cannot be homed in the PO6 area of Portsmouth. Children/pets: Sebastian came into our care as a stray so we have no history on how he behaves around other cats and dogs. In the cattery, he can has shown conflicting behaviour around other cats so we would not consider applicants with other cats but can consider a calm dog who is used to the presence of cats. A slow introduction and plenty of space would be needed. Sebastian could live with primary school aged children pending successful meets at the shelter. Whilst we believe him to be happy around younger children, they should be supervised at all times. Vet history:Sebastian is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 02/07/2026 and 09/07/2026 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Sebastian has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption. Adoption fee:The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated. Additional information:All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
