Smerfcia arrived at the shelter in very poor condition. She was alone, untreated, and the feline flu had already caused extensive damage. Unfortunately, her eyes could not be saved. At the shelter, she underwent enucleation, a procedure to remove the diseased eye. One might think that after all this, she would lose trust in people. That she would be afraid of an outstretched hand. Smerfcia is a wonderful, beloved kitten who really likes people. When she wants to be held, she can meow loudly and beautifully, as if she wants to say, "Take me away from here, I want to be close to you." And when she's not sitting on someone's lap? She runs, climbs, and enjoys life as if nothing had happened. The lack of an eye doesn't bother her at all. Smerfcia copes perfectly and is an energetic, curious cat.

Smerfcia trafiła do schroniska w bardzo złym stanie. Była samotna, nie leczona, a koci katar zdążył wyrządzić ogromne szkody. Niestety, jej oczka nie udało się już uratować. W schronisku przeszła zabieg enukleacji, czyli usunięcia chorego oczka. Można by pomyśleć, że po tym wszystkim straci zaufanie do ludzi. Że będzie bała się wyciągniętej ręki. Smerfcia jest cudownym, kochanym kocurkiem, który bardzo lubi człowieka. Kiedy chce na kolanka, potrafi głośno i pięknie mruczeć, jakby chciała powiedzieć: „Zabierz mnie stąd, chcę być blisko Ciebie”. A kiedy akurat nie siedzi na kolanach? Biega, wspina się i korzysta z życia tak, jakby nigdy nic się nie wydarzyło. Brak oczka w niczym jej nie przeszkadza. Smerfcia doskonale sobie radzi i jest pełną energii, ciekawą świata kotką.
