Some dogs touch you immediately—not through reserve, but through their open, heartful nature. Trixi is exactly such a female dog. She waits at the Public Shelter in Baia Mare for her chance—on people who recognize her heart and finally give her a loving home. Trixi is approximately 8 years old, medium-sized with a shoulder height of about 52 cm. Her light brown fur with the white patch and the white paws gives her a gentle, friendly aura. Her pretty face with the black nose and warm brown eyes radiates openness and joy. Small scars on her nose tell the story that her life hasn't always been easy—yet she has kept her friendliness. At the shelter, Trixi shows herself as an extremely people-oriented, friendly, and attentive female dog. She actively seeks the proximity to the helpers, is happy about attention, and gladly accepts treats. She clearly enjoys being touched, and one quickly notices: This female dog wants to belong. She is open, approachable, and simply great to handle by people. How she gets along with other dogs has not yet been tested and is therefore not known. Trixi is a so-called listed dog, most likely an American-Staffordshire-Terrier-Mix. This means that she falls into category 1 in Germany and is not allowed to be exported there.

Trixi ist etwa 8 Jahre alt, mittelgroß mit einer Schulterhöhe von ca. 52 cm. Ihr hellbraunes Fell mit dem weißen Lätzchen und den weißen Pfötchen verleiht ihr eine sanfte, freundliche Ausstrahlung. Ihr hübsches Gesicht mit der schwarzen Nase und den warmen braunen Augen strahlt Offenheit und Lebensfreude aus. Kleine Narben auf ihrer Nase erzählen davon, dass ihr Leben nicht immer leicht war – doch sie hat sich ihre Freundlichkeit bewahrt. Im Shelter zeigt sich Trixi als äußerst menschenbezogene, freundliche und zugewandte Hündin. Sie sucht aktiv die Nähe zu den Helfer:innen, freut sich über Aufmerksamkeit und nimmt Leckerlis gerne und freundlich entgegen. Berührungen genießt sie sichtlich, und man merkt schnell: Diese Hündin möchte dazugehören. Sie ist offen, zugänglich und einfach toll im Umgang mit Menschen. Wie sie sich mit anderen Hunden versteht, konnte bisher noch nicht getestet werden und ist daher nicht bekannt.
