This is our lovely senior Wolfie, a 12.5-year-old Cairn Terrier. Wolfie has been staying with us at the shelter for quite some time. His owner could no longer care for him due to health issues, but happily, Wolfie was able to visit her regularly. Recently, his owner passed away, and Wolfie has been entrusted to our care, with the wish that we find him a loving new home. Although Wolfie is now 12.5 years old, this certainly does not hinder him. He is still very fit for his age, enjoys going for walks, and is enthusiastic about life. Additionally, he learns quickly and enjoys being busy. Wolfie deserves a place where he can spend his golden years. With people who give him the attention, peace, and coziness he so deserves. He is a charming senior with a gentle nature, and we would love nothing more than to see him in a warm bed with someone who lets him experience many beautiful moments. With the right introduction, we suspect that Wolfie could be placed with another dog. He is still willing to greet other dogs on a leash. We find young children a bit too busy for him. Wolfie participates in the training program of Dutch Cell Dogs. Therefore, he cannot yet be placed, but meet-ups are possible. Sensitive, eager to learn, and brave when necessary. Dit is onze lieve senior Wolfie, een Cairn Terrier van 12,5 jaar oud. Wolfie verblijft al geruime tijd bij ons in het pension. Zijn eigenaresse kon door gezondheidsproblemen helaas niet langer voor hem zorgen, maar gelukkig mocht Wolfie regelmatig bij haar op bezoek. Recent is zijn eigenaresse overleden en is Wolfie aan onze zorg toevertrouwd, met de wens dat wij voor hem een liefdevol nieuw thuis vinden. Hoewel Wolfie inmiddels 12,5 jaar oud is, laat hij zich daardoor zeker niet tegenhouden. Hij is nog erg fit voor zijn leeftijd, gaat graag mee op pad en staat enthousiast in het leven. Daarnaast leert hij snel en vindt hij het leuk om samen bezig te zijn. Wolfie verdient een plek waar hij zijn gouden jaren kan doorbrengen. Bij mensen die hem de aandacht, rust en gezelligheid geven die hij zo verdient. Hij is een charmante senior met een zacht karakter en we gunnen hem niets liever dan een warme mand en iemand die hem nog vele mooie momenten laat beleven. Met een juiste introductie vermoeden we dat Wolfie prima bij een andere hond geplaatst kan worden. Aan de lijn wil hij nog wel is uitvallen naar andere honden. Jonge kinderen vinden we wat te druk voor hem. Wolfie heeft last van staar. Interesse in Wolfie?
